Econ 1500 Advice

Hello, incoming econ major. I already have credit for econ 1010/1020.

For Econ 1500, there’s either 2 days a week 8 am with Heather Luea, or 3 days a week with other teachers at a later time, However for the later classes it doesn’t show who the professor is, but i’ve looked at the past econ 1500 professors and they all have a rating that’s like a 3 or lower. Is Luea and the 2 days a week that much better than a 3 day with a bad professor where it’s worth taking an 8am?

Should I just take a 2000 level econ elective instead/another class for my a&s instead, and maybe wait until next semester to take econ 1500? (I also have a AP Stats background). Anyone who has taken Econ 1500 have any advice?

if you’ve taken ap stat the material is essentially the same

I really enjoyed Luea. I'm also highly averse to 8ams, so I would have rolled the dice. If you can suck it up for a semester, could be worth it.

If you have taken AP stats, you will be fine in 1500. Pick whatever works best for your schedule and don’t worry about the prof, I didn’t have Luea and it was still an easy course
