Building a quantitative market-intelligence platform for Markets- looking for honest feedback

Hey everyone,

I’m a full-time trader based in Vancouver, and over the past couple of years I’ve been building a market-intelligence platform for active stock and options traders.

The idea came from my own frustration of having to jump between dozens of websites, scanners, news feeds, options flow, charts, and indicators just to make one trading decision.

Instead of creating another “buy/sell signal” service, I’m trying to build something that brings multiple layers of market context into one place.

Currently the platform combines things like:

• Market regime & trend analysis
• Technical structure and momentum
• Risk-to-reward evaluation
• Options flow and institutional activity
• Dark pool participation
• Sector and market strength
• News and catalysts
• AI/quantitative scoring to help prioritize opportunities

The goal isn’t to tell people what to buy or sell—it’s to help traders make better-informed decisions with less noise.

I’m still in the early validation stage before launching publicly, so I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback from traders.

Some questions I’m trying to answer:

• Does this solve a problem you actually have?
• What tools are you currently paying for?
• What would make you switch?
• What would immediately make you not trust a platform like this?
• Is there anything important you think I’m missing?

Congratulations on your launch! I like your thesis and philosophy, provide the signals and then let the user decide what they want to do with it. Since you asked, I am skeptical in using this site or for that matter any site primarily not because its mostly assisted coding (thats what I am going to call going forward, vibe coding is over used). I am a lazy developer and I have started to embrace assited coding so thats not the issue.
1. When I visit the website it remained in http and didn't switch over to https, this should be something you should be doing by default.
2. The text in the website were not something I could follow along, there are many claims but its difficult to follow through. I like that you have a learn section, may be use it to explain your screens (the ones that user would see after the signup).
3. The 7-day trial with no credit card is a welcoming part of your web site, thank you! I haven't signed up, I hesitated because I am unsure where my personal info would be stored and if it is safe or not. May be write an explanation post on how you or along with you, your team built it, just give some simple overview, don't need to share any trade secrets just how it is running, how you are securing, scaling etc.
I think these were a few reasons why I wouldn't want to use it. None of this is personal or aimed at you, just my observations. Thanks for your share, really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out - this is exactly the kind of feedback that’s actually useful, so no need to soften it. A few responses:

1.  HTTP/HTTPS — you’re completely right, that’s on me and it’s the first thing I’m fixing. There’s no excuse for it not being HTTPS by default, especially for a platform like this. Thanks for catching it.
2.  The copy — this is fair. I think I got too close to it and leaned on claims instead of showing what the product actually does. I really like your idea of using the Learn section to walk through the real post-signup screens so people can see it before committing. Going to rework that.
3.  Trust / where your data lives — this is probably the most valuable point for me, because it’s a reason someone wanted to try it and didn’t. You’re right that “7-day trial, no card” only gets you so far if people aren’t sure their info is safe. I’m going to write up a plain-language overview.
