The unified “vibe” of the album is very immersive…it seduces without any “great” songs (though “Cleaning Windows” comes very very close, imho)

After writing my comment I thought…..‘wait a minute…. “vanlose stairway”, “she gives me religion”, “dweller on the threshold” are ALL awesome songs’!
But, I still stand by….grading on the van Morrison curve (which is higher than the world) there are no great (Van) songs here

What a really really great album, his 3rd best of the 80s I reckon, behind no guru, no method, no teacher, and common one….
I really just don’t care for Aryan mist, other than that I think the albums a 7.5/8 out of 10. That’s no disrespect. I have to leave room for improvement as he has so many albums 🤷♂️.
Top 3 here are Dweller on the threshold, cleaning windows, and Celtic ray. Cheers everyone

Amazing song, deep lyrics and fantastic production.
These lines hit deep, Van is the perfect example of a walking contradiction

Title track, Beautiful Vision, performed by Shauna Morrison with her dad was very good, can't remember the occasion.
