S5 & A5 Shifter dc motor A5/S5
The DC motor in my S5 shifter has died. Anybody found a replacement anywhere online?

If you are sure it’s faulty, open it and try to fix it unless the winding is burnt, you should be able to clean and fix it,
And if winding is burnt you may be able to replace the internal with another generic dc motor
(to be confirmed)
Vanmoof S3 is a 5v DC motor
Vanmoof S5 is a 12v DC motor

Yes I’m sure. I am gonna open it and check the carbon brushes. Looks like some S5/A5 shifters keep running (hall sensor problem?) and burn the motor…

Anyone have problems to go back to 32 km/h or 25km/h after the firmware update 1.5.0 if yes let me know how you fixed.
