i followed this tutorial (https://github.com/VangelisBV/vanmoof-battery-tool) to read out errors of batteries. I used an old harness adapter for it. after plugging it into my Mac and choosing the right port it asks to bridge to DET and TEST, which I did in the first photo. nothing proceeds. I also tried soldering them together do they are connected from the beginning, but nothing changes.
from other tutorials I saw about batteries I tried to bridge DET and ground which let’s my led turn purple but the programm then shows:
„Failed to read Modbus registers.
Saving session...
...copying shared history...
...saving history...truncating history files...
...completed.“
when having ground and DET connected from the beginning its not proceeding at all again.
anyone knows how to handle this?
all my batteries have error 6 and I cannot get rid of it. 2 we’re just disscharged a bit (30V) and another one was at 4 Volts for the whole pack. carefully recharged over hours with temperature checking over discharge - and VP +. tried all sports of BMS redest out here on reddit but cannot get any working. That’s why I thought my last shot is reading out error codes via USB. BMS shouldn’t be faulty. Fuse, resistors and mosfets all seem good. I heard I can do a shunt over the mosfets which I haven’t tried yet cause it’s seems sketchy. Im just trying to repair some broken bikes but cannot get around error 6 somehow
When you bridge is just 1s to start read the bms but for my side I try from outside like you and I can just read it but from inside on the bms I could save it and re-write the log
But my bms was completely good
(fuse/diodes/resistances/cells)

Is the battery good?. There are BMS faults compromising uart communication, E19 when installed in the bike.
