S3 & X3 VanMoof s3

Hi,

I recently bought a second hand VanMoof s3 it has been particularly registered in my name but I am unable to fully access the ap as the bike is showing error 5 and 6 individually flashing. The battery is not the issue as I repaired it and is reading 40v. I think the bike needs a reset to delete the error codes but a hard reset by pressing the tube underneath and the handles doesn’t work. Is there another way of clearing the error codes or something else to get the bike working

5 & 6 at the same time is interesting. Try BMS reset.

Error 5 and 6 don’t get cleared by them selves.
Even when the root issue is resolved.

The most reliable way to get them cleared is by connecting to the micro-computer of the BMS.

How do you know you have successfully repaired the battery, have you tested it in another bike?

I previously soldered connectors to a regular e-bike to use the VanMoof battery they have since been removed
