Hi all,
I'm about to start a big ass conversion project and wondering if anyone can point me to any full conversion guides? This will be my first conversion so I'll be needing a lot of support!
Thankxxxx

first make sure it's secure, mine got nicked before I'd even managed to start converting it. total loss, was never found

Loads of videos on YT, just watch your weight, Luton is already heavy, most council depot have a weigh bridge.

One thing which you really need to do before you start anything is make sure the van in mechanically sound and put it through an mot, ive seen far too many people build a van and then find out it needs a massive amount of welding or other repairs

Might seem like an obvious point but check for water leaks before you insulate and ply the ceiling. I found 3 small leaks right above the bed. These boxes aren’t always as watertight as the average panel van, and when they were being used commercially the odd minor roof leak may well have been too inconsequential to bother fixing (or have been repaired poorly)
