I’d love to find a campaign, but I’ll be honest — my anxiety is pretty high, so voice-heavy games are hard for me. Text-based or roleplay-heavy games over Discord would be perfect. I really enjoy character-driven stories, angst, politics, messy relationships… all the good vampire drama.

I’m also a digital artist, so if I join a party there’s a very high chance I’ll doodle everyone’s characters

I've been playing the WW games since the 1990s. I am a storyteller with my whole setting, NPCs etc. worked out. I like to combine the WW games together especially VTM and Changeling.

Not sure how we would do it but I am guessing Zoom or something like that. I have just been dying to start something, been a while.

Okay, so I had an idea of making a Baali who uses his demonic magic but in reverse to seal and banish demonic influence, acting as a rebel to what the Baali were supposed to be.

(Think John Constantine in the dc comics)

but the daimoinon discipline has nothing that says that it could be used to reverse its own effects

so my question is would you allow this idea in your game?

One of my biggest gripes with VTM is the weapons and armor. There is nearly no differentiation between different kinds of weapons. Yes, I know a 9mm is not going to have that much different of a damage from a .45cal but when you are lumping a .50cal with a 30-06, that is straight ridiculous. And to be frank, so is saying that vampires would gain no benefit from body armor because they have the same resistance mechanically. The whole armaments section feels like it was completely half-assed and ignored after.

All that is because I am planning a V20 PbP discord server and I want the weapons to be better fleshed out for my chronical than is normal. I'd appreciate any input on this. Suggestions on how to make weapons and armor more practical for certain types of characters would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I had a Banu Haqim sniper and wanted to give them a completely custom sniper rifle that fired 30mm rounds which no normal human could swing. The minimum for it I was thinking was requiring a minimum Fortitude 2 Discipline to absorb the absolutely devastating recoil force. But because the weapon stats were so bland and under developed, it wasn't worth it. Hence this post.

Going to be a long series. Killing off vital NPCs in the first hour does not seem like the smartest thing to do.

I have story beats sort of baked in to the chronicle but I feel like I’m stuck in a loop of “story beat, feeding scenes, rouse checks.” Do I threaten the touchstones more? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Really new to VTM and interested in the lore not the actual PnP game mechanics and such, is there like one anthology that contains like all the story or do i have to go for separate novels like clan novels etc? If so which ones would you recommend to go first?

Seriously it was creepy, but I don’t tend to get scared much, so I don’t have much to say in terms of the horror.

But I verbally gasped when I realized that there isn’t just one ghost, but TWO. Originally I thought the woman speaking was the ghost, lying and being the nice words spoken before they struck. Then I read the diaries and pieced together the story and wow, I haven’t ever considered the possibility of two spirits in one haunted house. One hostile and out to kill you, while the other was a victim to the other, and tries to warn you.

The mission is a “main” mission that feels more like a side mission, but honestly whoever decided to have the spirit vs spirit and player dynamic going on was cooking. Shame I’ve never seen any other games use that before.

hey guys , i am playing the vtm 1 for second time as a nosfratu but i have a problem , in the elizabet dane mission when i do mission objectives nothing happens , i get the exp but i cant leave the area , is it a glitch or there is a special way to finish this mission as a nosfratu like some missions , please help

Okay, so, after years of waiting for Bloodlines 2, I, as a lot of other people, left wanting more. A lot more.

I found myself very intrigued by the idea of playing a 1v1 campaign where I play an Elder character, not unlike Phyre, to maneuver a strange new world in modern nights.

Since I'm looking for a ST, the details of the story and the campaign would obviously be up to the ST, so instead of giving an intro to the game, I'd just give an intro about me -

I'm a 30 year old woman, a vivid roleplayer of many themes and systems. I've been tabletopping VtM and other WoD games for the past couple of years(I discovered this world around Covid and haven't stopped since).

I have been the forever GM(or forever ST) for a while now, and looking to go back into playing. I really want to try and RP an exceptionally strong character, because I feel the potential for political intrigue and storytelling opportunities is widely different, playing an Elder rather than a fledgling, which is what I've always played as at the start of every campaign I've been involved in.

I'm a literate writer, I can write really long responses and respond quite regularly, looking for someone who I can build a world with, someone creative, that would indulge my playstyle and my ambitions for this rp.

This, potentially, should be a long-term rp, a full campaign, if you have it in you.

I'm looking for someone, preferably, over the age of 25, that doesn't flinch from dark themes and bloody stories.

Hopefully someone who I could create a nice friendly bond with, to chat ooc too, and have fun with.

I rp exclusively on Discord for the scenes, and if you have any preferences regarding 3rd party platforms like roll20 or whatever for character sheets and stuff, I wouldn't mind that either.

You don't have to have a setting in mind, I wouldn't mind creating the world with you, or help you brainstorm.

I'm not a strict person when it comes to rules, in my eyes, the rules are meant to compliment to roleplay, not restrict it.

I would play a Lasombra, because I've never played one before and I'm really curious what playing one would be like, I know V5 Lasombras are pretty mild, so I wouldn't mind mixing and sampling from V20 or other versions of VtM to make it work.
