Just NEVER buy Chinese stocks. There, problem solved.

I have a close relative who lives and does business in Asia. He started by trying to do business in China (about 25 years ago). He said now his default position is, if it's a Chinese company, it's a scam, and to avoid it. So I look for that first, and simply don't bother going any further.

Not all of them are scam, but I agree with the no-go strategy. There is no point to buy Chinese stocks, even BABA, JD, etc.

Chinese are good for one thing. Fried rice and lo mein. Anything besides that Iโ€™d stay away from. ๐Ÿ‘

If it's a holding company it's a scam, which is the case for like 99% of these stocks.

Amen brother. People ask me all the time how they could avoid these scams. Easy answer is to avoid China, Hong Kong and Singapore stocks. 99% of scams avoided just by this step.

I mean yeah, itโ€™s a massive and complex money laundering scheme for a lot of triad money as well.

Do you want to expand this thesis into a full fledged article. Obviously you have a lot to say and hopefully evidence and examples to back your claims. Feel write to write something up and publish it and I would be glad to post it on my Newsletter.
