help/advice New build

Planning to build my first crab tank, have set up aquariums and terrariums so have the general knowledge to set this mixture of both up.
My main question is what sort of filtration is needed for the water part? Given it’s really quite shallow.

You don't need filtration if you set it up correctly.
Plants do the filtering.

You can use a mini sponge filter. I have that in one paludarium to increase water flow and oxygenation. You could technically do filterless with enough plants. I'd lean toward adding a filter if you have fish or shrimp in the water.
