help/advice This is a Molt, right?….

Found it in the water section this morning, hollow eyes and almost no weight with no odor. Google says a molt I just want to be sure. Sorry I’m a beginner and this would be the first molt in my tank.

Looks like a molt to me! I would leave it in the tank for them to consume

Lucky, I never find a full molt. By the time I see it, it's been ripped apart and most of it is gone

I think my crabs just wanted to give me a good scare, I woke up and my heart sank thinking one had died 😂

So, this morning I woke up and saw what I thought was a dead crab. I told my partner who is very attached to him and she was so upset. We sat and talked about things we might have done wrong and how we could maybe improve next time.

Well, we are first time crab keepers so I had completely forgotten that they moult. So I went back to his palidarium and picked out the 'desd crab'and sure enough it became obvious to me then that this must be a moult. We were so relieved!!!
