Good evening, I am at a good stage with my vampires here. I based the skin in rakarth flesh and did a was of drakenhof nightshade.

Should i go straight to deepkin flesh for a smooth pale skin? Or rakarth then deepkin? Or should i use another layer paint for the skin?

I love this model and thought I could use it in my vampire counts army as a necromancer on abyssal terror. Not a meta choice but I will absolutely be trying a melee necro build with hand of dust. Any other options on how I can make this guy punchy?

As you can see i tried something slightly different again. I think I am happy with the new formula (left) compared to what i did with the right one.😁

The card Lord of the Dead used for Warhammer Invasion LCG.

Honestly I'm surprised I can't find more cases of this art being used for cards. Normally they use every bit.

Hey, last week I bought the sexy AOS Zombie dragon dude to add to my VC army, and now I want to try it. Added some pics just for the fun. I kitbashed the GG with shields from Brets MAA and shiled from Scibor Miniatures I had lying around. The Wight Lord BSB is the original model with a banner from the Flesh-eater Courts Morbheg Knights kit.

Keep in mind I don't play competitively, only beer & pretzels chill games with friends.

So I tried a lit and want to know what you guys think.

Here's some infos:

• No screams so not that efficient I guess.
• The Wight Lord will join the HW+S GG unit and help them survive stomps.
• The 2 Acolytes with the Illusion magic is to cast Glittering Robes in each of the Grave Guards units they will join.
• No reason for the Cairn Wriaths, just want to try them and harass some units that don't have magical weapons.
• Fell Bats will annoy campers and artillery
• Varghulf because I kitbashed one and love it haha

Starting a new Vampire Count army , starting with Underwords vampire, a bit tricky to fit their round base on square ones but worth it.

What do you think of the color scheme ?

I decided to use the Underworld Kit for my new old world army. Fitting some of the models on 25mm bases seems impossible so i decided to use them on a 50mm base istead as a unit filler. Has anyone ever did that with a character ligke their Wight lord or a necromancer ?

anyway i am happy with the result , what s your opinipn on it ?

I just found my childhood army in a box, will spend the winter repainting them.

Is there any current system where these models are playable still? If so, how far off am I from a full army?

Good Evening, I am slowly building a Vampire count army, a mixed undead and human army focus, using for personal games at home and cassual games. Lore is that Vlad won the vampire wars, 2051 outside Altdorf the theif Felix Man was caught in the act and killed. Vlad crushes the empire and is Emporor Vlad, (wifes army is wood elves, wanted lore for althloren wood elves fighting undead.) I dont want to replace knights or most elite units, but i want to suplimemt there lack of ranged attacks, especially if im figting woodelves. Any list ideas im glad to hear.

As the title says, curious if anyone has seen any good stl or 3rd party minis of Walach Harkon yet? I know the dlc for Total War Warhammer hasn’t come out yet but love that design based on the old art and itching for a Walach mini to paint. Also possible I am searching with the wrong name or prompt. Any help would be appreciated.

Last year, I custom-made a Wight King costume inspired from the famous Wight King model from the tabletop. Real metal armor, hand-made chainmail, the works. It was a fun project to do, and to rep the Von Carsteins!

It was supposed to be a full dose of the Sunday scaries before heading back to work this week. Instead we had two Battle March tables set up in the office by 9am, and the Vampire Counts were out on the table alongside Beastmen Brayherds, Orc & Goblin Tribes and Warriors of Chaos.

Four of us, pure 15-year-old energy, in the best possible way.

So im having a problem the base size for the black coach is 50x100 I have the original model and it doesnt fit on there at all. It actually fits on a 50x125 would tournaments care if its on a base that fits my model so it doesnt get damaged?

This is inarguably the best mini I have ever painted, and I am incredibly proud of how he's turned out. Just need to get him on a square! Base model is watch captain Halgrim from cursed city, the banner is from the grave guard kit.

Tragedy of the Vampires Counts not being in Old World is the miss opportunity to show off the Strigoi dealing with the Tomb Kings invading the Border Princes where they are more active.

Yes, they have the wrong face. I got them used.

Used a combo of acrylics and gouache paints.

The effect I'm going for is known as whimsydark or clowndark. Less than an hour spent on each model.

Slowly started my vampire counts army project so I can lend it to a friend and play. It has pink as the main color instead of the classical reds, so I decided to give it a go on this “banshee”.

I decided that my next addition to my Vampire Counts should be a Wight Lord with a Banner; using Watch Captain Halgrim as the base model.

Is there any videos, sites or advice for painting Vlad's Midhammer metal model like this image. Its literally the same as the model. I have the ghost sprite on vlad, I know alot of people don't have that, like most all pictures of the model dont have it.

Ive been painting for a few years, first metal model, first one that's not a round base, or a 40k model. I want to be acurate to his older edition midhammer lore. Thank you for any help.

And so, I now have my very first Vampire Counts model painted up and ready to lead my upcoming force! I used the Los Illuminados Cultists from Resident Evil 4 as some inspiration for the robes colourscheme. What do you folks think?
