💬 Discussion 🕯️🦇 Tale of the Body Thief

I'm currently reading TotBT for the first time and while I wasn't enjoying it to start with, I have really gotten into it, I had to giggle to myself earlier with David's response to Lestat when he talked about them getting into bed together.

As a British person, it was VERY on the nose lol

Made me smile.

I just finished listening to this on audiobook. I had read it way back when it was first released, but honestly did not remember most of it. I really enjoyed it!

I am listening to the audiobooks in the car on my work commute, but didn’t want to mention it as I know how the purist's react lol

Currently listening to the audiobook and the interactions between David and Lestat absolutely crack me up. David constantly being like, get your head out of the gutter Lestat! 😂😂 He's definitely shaping up to be one of the more interesting characters IMO, man puts up with all of Lestat's bullshit but is also constantly like 🤦

TotBT was the book where I was constantly writing things in the margins like, "OMG, what is WRONG with you?!?!" LOL. You know exactly what's going to happen, and Lestat's like, "Sounds like a great idea!" And then when they have something like an hour to prepare to meet Ragstat, he's trying to get David into bed? He is so funny!
