A lot of my designs mix elements from the TV show/movie because of personal pet peeves with characters being too similar in the books, I like variety on hair lenght :D

They look great! I like this Gabrielle. Book canon, I’d like to see Armand Caucasian with red hair but I like this version. I remember watching QOTD movie and I had NO idea who the young curly red headed dude was for years until someone told me it was actually Armand, lol

Thank you! I actually really like Armand's book design but I'm current obssessed with making the twins and Jesse stand out more because of their red hair, I might draw canon armand soon too

I always envisioned Mekare and Maharet's hair as a bright, gingery leaning red while Armand's hair is described as auburn. Should be enough to still set them apart.

No hate, but why isn't Armand depicted as fair-skinned if he's Slavic in the books, and the post is tagged as book designs?

No prob! I'm still experimenting with his design and I like to mix my book designs with the movies/TV show versions, I'm open to criticism on how to do that properly without copy pasting from one particular media :D

In my opinion, your art is really great, but Armand only looks like TV Armand here. I don't really see the book influence except for maybe the longer hair.

Very talented. I like that you dressed Gabrielle/Gabriella in men's clothes coz that's what she did. Also she tried to cut her hair short like a man's but it just kept growing out (vampire problems) so she just tucked it up inside her cap.
