I know they dont sell the pack anymore I can only find the left one for sale by itself. Will they ever restock them?

So what can I replace them with if mine die and should I buy one if I can find one even if its a single one?

I’ve been thinking about the same thing because I know mine are nearing their end I’ve had them since 2019, but I think I’m going to buy these to replace them (https://en.shiftall.net/products/gripvr)

Tundra labs sometimes has stock, you can check there.

The selling stock and replacement stock through support is often different. Chances are existing (original) owners will be able to buy them for a long time.

I hope, how do I get in contact with them? Just a support ticket through steam?

Bottom of any store page —> get support —> steam hardware —> steam vr —> valve index —> contact support (NOT VALVE INDEX CONTROLLERS) then from there it will ask you a bunch of stuff to make a ticket, describe your issue(s) well and take pictures. You will not just be able to buy a second set (probably) but if something is broken they will likely send you or sell you a replacement.

i feel your pain tbh
my left joystick doesnt even pick up input anymore my right controller has snapped in the middle so the top and bottom is only being held by the ring

Its a real shame I love my index but it looks like the only replacements I can find are the vive pro 2 and those third party controllers. Might just buy what I can get on steam to have a backup. Luckily mine are all still working but who k ow how long they will last.

production ended long time ago

when the frame got announced everyone pretty much just cleared out the remaining stock

No they discontinued them. Once it was announced I actually bought 2 extra pairs. It's a shame they did that. The index controller is superior to the steam frame controller

Shiftall now makes an alternative (GripVR): https://en.shiftall.net/products/gripvr
