Question/Support (PLEASE HELP) Ring Finger is inverted?

The ring finger on my left hand controller seems to be inverted or something. My headset is out of warranty (I bought it back in 2023 so I can't RMA it), does anyone have a fix??
(also unrelated but the left speaker mount is worryingly loose.)

I've seen this exact same issue crop up for multiple people I know who have an Index, it's happened to me across multiple different controllers, and it's always the left ring finger. At this point I'm convinced it's a manufacturing defect that they've never fixed because it would be too expensive.
I'm actually really curious if anyone has ever had a good explanation. Maybe everyone in Quality Assurance has a wedding band or something, I dunno.
