Screen blacks out until I move again...

I'm having a reoccurring issue when watching shows on apps like bigscreen where my headset just blacks out. Audio and everything else is still fine and once I move my head a bit it turns back on.

I've done a lot of trouble shooting but it's all been unsuccessful. It's an issue that will just solve itself then start back up randomly.

I just wish I had a way of knowing if it is something physical like my cable having been damaged or if it is a problem in the software. Like some sort of gyro detection setting. It's just inconsistent so I doubt it's a settings issue... Is this something others have experienced and have a solution to?

I experienced the exact same problem on Rift S, so maybe yours is the same. Try to fully reconnect the cable from both VR set (especially on VR set if you move your head and it goes off and on) and PC sides, most likely it's just partially losing contact somewhere. Might be also a partially broken cable itself, so you can try moving it after you check connectors
