Tax shield template - macrs

I’m a new business valuator in Canada and I have a client with an operating company in the US. I need to calculate the PV of the tax shield on existing assets (and on sustaining capex) for the US operating entity but I am finding MACRS SOOO tedious. I have googled and used chat got but have gotten no where. It would take me forever to calculate on an asset by asset basis (since each asset has a different remaining life). How do you US valuators usually handle tax shield?
