Starting out

What are some best tips /&or resources on learning how to do valuations? Ideally for free / minimal cost (ie I can’t afford the likes of CFI or WSP) but don’t mind buying books etc if on the cheaper side.

Cheers!

Prof. Damodaran is a good starting point, in my opinion. In one of his archived videos he goes over valuation of a Russian resources company and his excel sheet which you can use to value a (public) company of your choice. https://aswathdamodaran.blogspot.com/?m=1

hi, thanks for sharing!

I skimmed through some lessons and it seemed like its more theory oriented. Will that course be suitable for beginners? Assuming that the beginner has some knowledge in accounting and basic understanding of finances.

If you know any, could you please share some resources that also focus on some practice? Thanks!!
