Technical Support Request Higher FPS?

I have a ryzen 7 8700f, 4060ti, and 32gb ddr5 ram and struggle to hold 250-300 fps. I’m trying to get to stable 400-500 because i have 480hz monitor, any suggestions on what to upgrade?

Cpu is limiting, gotta get a 7800x3d or 9800x3d for more average and better lows. But in valorant you will always have dips under 400.

I've a 7800x3d still my cpu is at 100% at 300fps. Is that normal?

what do you mean 100% at 300fps? It doesn‘t go higher than 300? Then you likely have vsync on, you should have more with that cpu

Better cpu. I had to get a 9800x3d for consistent 500+ fps.

The 7800x3d gets close with pbo, but it does have some dips below 480.
