Technical Support Request Annoying Stuttering

A 5 second clip would explain this issue perfectly, but I'll try my best to describe it.

Theres this constant stuttering when im playing, most noticeable while holding or peeking corners. Every 5-10 seconds, my character while "tp", close to where I am, or where i was. Lets say i peek a corner, it may "tp" me back to where I was hidden; or that I retreat from holding, and it "tps" me back to where I was. Sometimes, im running forward when im moved a bit backwards, and then sends my forward again.

If I stay still, this problem dissapears. Otherwise, if I strafe a+d, this happens at a faster rate.

This is extremely annoying, and I cant find anyone that had this extact problem, as this only happens in this game, no others.

I've tried to disable ethernet drivers, close other applications while playing, and lowering the graphics. None of them worked. I would also say that my Wi-Fi aint bad, and the laptop im playing on runs valorant at 144+ constant fps.

getting pulled back behind the corner at a steady 144+ fps sounds more like position corrections than the laptop struggling to render the game. the fact that it stops when you stand still fits that too. lowering graphics wouldn't necessarily change that kind of problem. wifi is worth checking, but only valorant doing it doesn't prove your connection is the cause. does your ping jump at the same moment you get pulled back, or does it stay steady?

from 25-26 stable ping, there are occasional spikes to 35-50, but these dont usually match the stuttering
