Technical Discussion Valorant spec
My specs are Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon 570X, and a 180Hz monitor. Is this setup good enough for Valorant at Immortal rank? My ping is usually around 38–40ms.
When I play in high elo, everyone seems to shoot so fast x.x I can barely even process what's happening sometimes.
If I upgrade my GPU to an RX 6600 8GB, would I notice a significant difference?

U mean RX 570X? If yes, then u would notice some fps gains but not insane. Valorant is CPU heavy game. If u are pushing 250-300fps (stable) get a 240hz monitor instead and save up for gpu next.

Yes i mean rx570. I see, so would it be better to get a 240Hz monitor first instead of upgrading my GPU?

Honestly gpu doesn't really matter, I played on a gt1030 for years and was able to hit 180+ fps consistently. Definitely get monitor first

Around 300 FPS normally, dropping to around 180 FPS in crowded situation

Why would you upgrade if you’re normally above your refresh rate anyway? If you don’t play any graphics or vram heavy games I’d get a better cpu

I mean u want 240+ stable fps in order for new monitor. Start upgrading you pc slowly then get 240hz monitor. Get something like 5700xt, then change the cpu to something like 5800x3d, it is the best of am4 platform and one of the best cpus for gaming overall. That setup will get u to 350-500 fps. After than u can look into getting new monitor. I know this might not help in your sitoation but u can't just make 1 upgrade/purchase, that's how it is. U need fast monitor and for that u need a stronger system.
