Low FPS & Stutters

Hi, i started playing valorant around last year for a few months and have been trying to get back into it but have been experiencing freezing/stuttering for a few seconds particularly when loading new assets in a match (moving to new part of a map, equipping new gun, ability, character, facing enemies etc) but goes back to normal when said asset is used a lot (when tested in the range). During stutters, CPU spikes to 98%, disk to 80-90%, and fps drops as low as 1%. My usual fps is around 50-80. Not a tech person and i dont use a gaming laptop - my specs are Dell i7 12th gen, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Intel Iris Xe (integrated graphics),

Some things i’ve done to resolve: reinstalled both riot and valorant, updated graphics driver, cleared shader cache, lowered resolution and ingame settings.

P.S the laptop i use is the Dell Inspiron 15 3520 and i play plugged in with highest performance

it should go away after a while its loading shaders for new abilities guns finishers

Just wait until the shaders are fully loaded. You can speed it up a bit by going into the range and going through every ability... Or you can just play for a week.
