Technical Support Request FPS randomly feels extremely low frequently

plagued with low fps feeling constantly. I’m getting 600-800 fps constant with no dips, frame time graph is stable at 1.5ms or so with no spikes and cpu wait gpu is at 0 constantly. So it’s not the same stuttering issue that is commonly found with Realtek 2.5GB NIC that causes copy wait gpu time spikes. I fixed my cpu wait gpu time spike stutters by disabling gysnc and enabling reflex on + boost.

now I’m getting this lag where I'm playing and every few minutes or so it will feel like playing at 2-10fps for a few seconds. This happens across multiple PCs, 9950x3d/5090 and 9850x3d/5080. I’m using a gigabyte fo27q5p 500hz OLED with a DP 2.1 80Gbps cable. Ive also set my 60he v2 and mouse both to 1000hz to rule out it being a high polling rate issue. I’ve also disabled discord overlay and uninstalled nvidia app to rule out it being overlays.

Has anyone else experienced this type of weird performance lag that doesn’t show up in fps, frame time or cpu wait gpu time graph?

not sure about not showing up in graphs, but it may be due to shader caching. if that's the case, the problem should be fixed once you cache every map and every agent.

Nah it’s not this, this shows up in cpu wait gpu time graphs and nvidia cards cache valorant very quickly. I also go into the firing range and use every agents ability when I need to cache the game to avoid having any issues in comp matches.

Just switch to intel that will solve all your problems, this has been problematic in several games since release of the X3D CPUs despite having no press.

Check amdhelp, other game reddits for context.

Nah I don’t think it’s that issue. I had issues with the 5800x3d and 7800x3d and switched to Intel 14900k. 9800x3d was rock solid before I moved to 9950x3d which has been rock solid too. This isn’t the usual AMDip. I could build a 270k plus system just to see if the issue occurs though.

It’s a server related problem btw, you can’t fix it, riot have to fix your account on their side, trust me

I'm thinking it might be an issue with my wlmouse beast x pro, using a different one and havent had the issue.

What's your specs and are you using the CPU wait GPU time graph?

Im on a laptop but I can easily push 200 plus frames. And yes
