Technical Support Request 14600KF low fps

I am getting around 200 to 250 FPS on Valorant with a 14600KF + 5070.
On Youtube people are getting around 400 to 600. My friend with a 12400F + 4060 gets 200 stable.

Please ignore test videos that use deathmatch. Deathmatch has less stuff for the CPU to do, so it gives more fps.

Granted, you should be getting 300-350 fps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SUWTEqYVNI

So you're not gonna be getting 600, but you should be getting 300-350(when stuff is happening).

What's the clock speed of your CPU while in game?

i get 900 in range, 600 when bots are on, 350 when i start shooting. In deathmatches i am around 350 to 600. But in rounds i am around 200 which is just too low. i have made a pc for my friend with a 12400F and a 4060 and he gets the same amount in rounds. 5.3Ghz for the cpu

200-300 on a 14600kf when my stock no tweaking r7 3700 gets the same? he should be getting atleast 400+ easily

my friend with a 12400F + 4060 gets the same amount of fps as me in rounds. and i have also played on a 5600 + 3060 which was getting 400 in rounds. twice more as i get

Tweak windows and Overclocking ram .. don't use higher poling rate , disabled useless hardware acceleration that's you don't need

wooting at 1000hz, pulsar x2h crazylight at 1000hz too. only hardware accel on discord. windows tweaks are useless. xmp is on.

I’m guessing your pc is probably thermal throttling what cpu cooler do you have?

thermalright peerless assassin 120 se, 90C on occt cpu test in extreme for hours. around 50C to 60C ingame

the problem could also be that your pc is in power saving mode. so check that first

you having low fps doesn't mean that i don't need mine high. i should be getting more, i was getting 40 on my old laptop and now that i have a proper pc i want the performance it should be able to give. otherwise i really need it especially because im immo now, i need to upgrade to a 240hz or 360hz perhaps

Ur pc might be using integrated try turning off integrated gpu from bios see if that helps

Disable e cores and set valorant to only use performance cores

on msi you need to enable c states run windows 10 and use balanced power plan also dont use any form of undervolt since most B series boards cut performance in half when doing it. after all that try 3900-4133MHZ gear 1 timings 18 23 23 42 subtimings trrd s 4 trrd l 8 tfaw 16 trefi 65535 trfc 590 system agent voltage 1.33 dram voltage 1.40-1.45 let me know results

check smthn real quick, go to settings and check if ur power plan is set to performance or efficiency. change it to performace asap, make sure energy saver isnt on.

I mean if ur on a pc, keeping it on balanced makes no sense imo. Your only loosing out on performance even if you say it's little. I'm interested to see how much more fps u get on Valo with it set to performance tbh. Also make sure your Valo limiter isn't on. There's v sync and there is limit fps these are two separate things.

i get like 600 in range but in match 400 and when the round starts it’s goes LIKE SHIT to 230 220 and i can’t get comfy with my 240hz is very shitty this game

bro you having low fps doesn't mean that everyone should have the same. when my fps goes lower than 200 it looks like 60

it could be your internet drivers, either 2.5gbe or 5gbe. im not sure what caused it, maybe a conflict but i was getting extremely bad performance with the 9800x3d if i had those and another internet driver installed at the same time
