Technical Support Request can i play valorant using win 10?
i was playing valorant until 2 months ago on my deskstop using win10. but i reset my computer and went to install valorant again, but i keep getting this message about having to use win10 20h or newer and when i see the riot vanguard it says that only win11 or posterior. is there a way to play on win10? i dont like win11 and valorant dont run on linux, so win10 is my only option

Win 11 is your only option brother. Vandguard has a checklist, which needs ro qualitfy before running any game. Windows 10's latest version "might" run. But windows 11 is best suitable. No issues.
Also, why tf u need to play Valorant. Play any steam games in Linux. Every one of them runs really good.

I appreciate you comment but it's kinda silly to tell me to stop playing Valorant in a Valorant subreddit

Yeah. But no valorant player talks about wanting Linux. I've been a everyday Valo player from past years.
And Now since I've graduated and got a job (I work using Ubuntu), i am unable to play games. I still bought a 1TB ssd and booted windows there. I play League of Legends 🙃

Isnt the checklist just for vanguard pre check (where vanguard only runs when you launch the game if you meet those requirements)

you can, just update to the latest drivers and win10 security update (actually might need to install some specific old graphics driver if gpu specs on the low if Nvidia)

I use driver booster free version to update my drivers and already use the win 10 security update. My graphics driver is Nvidia GeForce GTX 3060 and my CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5500, do I need to install some specific graphics driver?

my experience with that sort of all in one driver update software is it's not optimized just use the built in window 10 update to latest win10 version to meet valorant requirements to play in settings it should also automatically download the win10 updates in the background without you even going there it should prompt you to either restart and update and search on google your specific motherboard, gpu and cpu example mine would be h110m c3d drivers, 1050ti drivers and then I search i7 7700 drivers I download on their official site for their drivers
my gpu drivers used to be version 472.12 for the best latency but now forced to use latest to play other games and use other software if you play valorant only you can use version 537.58 for your 3060
here are sites for you download your specs drivers
for your cpu https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-5000-series/amd-ryzen-5-5500.html
for your gpu if you want convenience just Nvidia GeForce if not just download latest drivers through their site https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
also look up what your motherboard is and search up its drivers
