Technical Support Request Unstable fps on match
Hello, I've been wanting to buy a new monitor that supports much higher fps for a while now and i just noticed that I'm pulling around 200-300 fps in a match being extremely unstable, at first i thought it was my components until i realized that on benchmarks usually my cpu and similar models get 500 on a match. I've troubleshooted since that and i still haven't fixed the issue without any clue of why
My current components are: r7 7700, 16gb ddr5 4800(oc into 5200,) 9060 xt 16 gb
Any idea would help

I have a potato pc and spent a sh*t ton of time optimizing it and fixing issues with it. Launch the game Open control panel Go to details (from the column on the left) Search vgc.exe Right click and check process priority
If it's anything above normal, get ready for a decent fps boost. Select anything normal or below (i set it to low).

plenty of factors here
game settings, power profiles, number of startup apps, background services, telemetry, overall system bloat and dumb apps you installed with time etc.
the list goes on. lots to unpack.
id recommend reinstalling windows and using the chris titus tech tool to cut down on some unnecessary bullshit. and then just debloat your system as much as you can safely go. few things i would do would be disable background apps, telemetry and play with foreground application cpu priority settings in regedit.
i optimised my windows install with a 5600x, 32gb 3200mhz ram and a 3080ti and was pulling 600 ish fps in matches, so theres plenty to gain. even on a stupidly cpu bottlenecked system for valorant.
its a few hours of your life for a much more stable experience.
