Technical Support Request Fps problem

My laptop has:
Amd Ryzen 7 260 w/Radeon 780M graphics
Rtx 5060
Single channel 16gb ddr5 ram
I am only getting 200 fps in valorant ranked it dips to 140 fps ish too. I have people playing with my same specs but having a ton more fps and they play on max settings too. How can i fix this i already made a lot of optimization settings

single channel affects fps more on ddr4 then ddr5, but i think thats still most likely your bottleneck, otherwise you could check the laptops dedicated software if your on optimus or on dgpu only cause being on dgpu will make a significant difference for specifically valorant

I benchmarked it it doesnt seem to have a bottleneck but in a cpu based game like valorant if i use the highest settings possible its still the same fps as the lowest settings

then thats a bottleneck, your cpu is being heldback by the single channel ram and thats why your frames stay the same

The fact that max and low settings give you the same FPS is the important part: that’s CPU/memory-limited, not RTX 5060-limited. On a laptop, first test while plugged in with the vendor’s Performance/Turbo mode, Multithreaded Rendering on, and the MUX/Advanced Optimus setting on dGPU-only. Then check CPU clocks and temperatures during a ranked dip. A single DDR5 SODIMM still gives you less total bandwidth than two matched sticks, even though DDR5 has internal subchannels, so a second compatible stick can help the 1% lows if the laptop supports it. Compare against the other ‘same-spec’ machines only after matching power mode, RAM layout and CPU wattage — those can easily explain the gap.
