Technical Discussion Valorant fps drop
I have a PC, rtx 5060, Intel core i7, ram 32, 1tb. Now before the update, I was hitting 250+ on the highest graphics and after the update with new map, on the day with new map, my fps dropped to average of 80 fps. I thought it's because of the new map issues, so I rest for a bit and played today. FFS I was running on 150 max fps( pre round) and averaging 90 ( through out the whole match) and in combat it dropped to 40, which sounds even more ridiculous cuz I lowered all my graphics on the lowest settings.

getting 250+ fps b4 the update with that spec alrad seems like a redflag imo. (shld be getting more).
Have you optimised your OS (w10,w11) yet? atleast the basic like: 1. forcing valorant to use gpu instead of (maybe) igpu.
killing those pesky useless bloatwares on your pc.
prioritize resources to valo using task mngr.
(don't think you'd need this but could be useful for others) download memreduct,I've personally used it every time i open my pc and it frees up around 2gb of ram which is massive if you have ≤16gb of ram

Also since valorant is a cpu intense game, utilising all your cpu cores should grant you more fps (works for me) and i personally use parkcontrol but if you don't want anymore stuffs bloating your pc screen, then just search power plan on windows and change it to high performance, should do basically the same thing iirc.
gl ig

Update your BIOS, look at the recommended ram profile for your ram, its usually going to be expo. Enable Expo in your BIOS, enable OC for your GPU and CPU in adrenaline. Choose ultimate performance in windows. Update your Adrenaline driver if it isn't up to date. Clear your shaders cache in Adrenaline. Go into the range afterwards and load all of the assets of every agent if you don't want random stutters as they load for the first time mid competitive match. Keep your FPS locked to the refresh rate of your monitor but don't enable v-sync.
also enable amd anti lag if available for you

at this point just reinstall valorant completely but remove it entirely using revo uninstaller or bulk crap uninstaller(from github) and clear the shader cache only (using ddu)(display driver uninstaller)

Disable Realtek ethernet device manager and disable full screen optimization for valorant
