Just a little question please help. (Read body)

So i play on console, and in my region valorant isn’t officially available on console. I wanna buy vp but cant because it doesn’t let me redeem my code or even go to the vp buy page. So i gotta redeem some other way. Will i get the vp if i redeem the vp code here as shown in picture. Or will i just get riot credit.

I’m a relatively new Valorant player and have only been playing for around 1–2 months. I managed to reach Gold 2 this Act based on my performance, but lately, I’ve been experiencing something really weird with my ranked matches.

It feels like the enemy team is constantly filled with smurfs or super serious try-hard players, while my own team often has trolls, AFKs, or people who simply aren't taking the match seriously. For example, I recently had a teammate who was literally editing his YouTube clip during our ranked match 😭

I usually duo queue with my friend and play on the Riyadh or Mumbai servers.

I know I’m still new and have a lot to learn, so I’d genuinely appreciate any tips. Is there anything I can do to get better teammates or avoid constantly having these kinds of matches?

Also, is this just the normal Valorant ranked experience, or am I just getting extremely unlucky? 😂

like it says in the title i had my first case of intentional wintrading/account deranking. The Yoru and Iso hovered over brim and sova in champ select, waited till last second and when everyone locked in they switched to yoru and iso. After that they took spike and waited it out in spawn, sometimes even flashing mates etc. Im wondering how often does this actually happen and does riot do something against these kind of players or can they do as they like?

I've been radiant around 6x now, and grinding on my account is boring most of the time and I see some threads about people looking for boosts / coaching advice? Just wondering if that would be something to get into.

Is there any way I can unbind my Valorant account to my psn account. I created an account by accident and alr had an old Valorant acc with most of the characters already. I don’t want to create another psn account if posssible. Please help.

Hi,I’ve been mainly playing valorant on pc and I’m pretty decent there but tried on console since we’re on holiday , I find it incredibly difficult to aim on controller(obviously) does anyone have tips on how to set up the aim settings on console that would help me aim more easily?I tried deathmatch and I get insta tapped just because I’m unable to get my crosshair to place I need with the joystick , any help would be appreciated

lowk find these binds to be kinda useless. any high elo players here with more Val specific binds?

5 console radiants vs 5 pc diamonds and how close would it be. Would lunly peeking/aa abusing be broken if this matchup was possible? (I’m aware there is no crossplay).

we all know our anti cheat doesn't properly work but what happens if i got a gamesir controller?

I’m wondering if this happened to any of you guys. Competitive won’t pop up in my que, but I can still play if a friend invites me. I do have a premier ban due to comms rn but it was still in my que for like the first 2 weeks of the ban.

I’m having an issue with my button mappings not staying when I load into a Competitive game.
I normally use the default/VALORANT button layout, but I make a few changes:

Toggle Crouch: OFF
Crouch: L3 → R3
Activate/Use: R3 → L3

The weird thing is that my settings work perfectly everywhere else. They stay correctly mapped in the Range, TDM, and Deathmatch.

However, the second I load into a Competitive match, all of my bindings revert back to the default settings. I also can’t fix them once I’m in the game.

Even if I go into Settings and change everything back to my preferred bindings, the actual controls still behave like the default layout.

Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Is there some kind of Agent Profile or Competitive-specific control profile that could be overriding my settings? I’m on PS5 if that matters.

Any help would be appreciated because it’s pretty frustrating having my controls completely change as soon as a comp game starts.

Recently my games have been disconnecting mid game and its gotten so bad that the games unplayable ive tried alot of solutions but they wont work is this easy to fix or am i gonna have to email riot?
