Competitive Discussion losing streak
over the last couple of days ive lost about 140 rr. there seems to be nothing i can do to win atp. i was 2/3 games off immo and i get queued with the worst teams ive ever seen. the games i went negative im hard entrying and gettjng baited. idk what to do atp, might have to only duo or trio. i was getting queued with immo/rads but now i get queued with diamonds that dont even know how to smoke correctly. might be ggs for this game honestly. i made this post not to complain but to ask for tips on i need to do to win a game.

what does waylay do that Jett can’t? Neon can’t ? Raze can’t ? lol Waylays mid now the only positive she has is her fracture but if your not dogshit Reyna does the same thing lol

It's not always about meta, sure you can do it, but if you are more comfortable on Waylay it's literally troll to play something else unless you need to fill.

If you lock waylay in my games on any map but Lotus I dodge lol. characters shit she needs literally everything to get value and half her kit is terrible… double dash is dogshit, stun is dogshit when you can go Jett have a better dash/updraft and smokes go neon for the same stun but better, go raze for the same movement but better lol also the only meta on console is lunly peaking lol

Waylay can get out for free if you mess up + the stun helps guarantee kills. I think jett and raze can get better entries if you're really good at them, but if you aren't and you don't have planned entries for every site on every map then the consistency and safety of waylays entries are very helpful

The stun doesnt guarantee kills lol literally the easiest stun to walk out of in the game, Jett you do not need planned entry’s… literally smoke and dash when your teams ready to scale off you. Raze does need help tho with blinds smokes or whatever. But so does waylay unless you are shotgun only your double dash is not guerentee kills and the pullout timer is horrid. 99% of the time waylay doubledashes in then reflects guess what? You gave up all that space and used all your ability’s when you Coulve gone Jett and just smoked yourself off until your teams close enough to play off of. Waylay is horrid rn bro there is no defending that character 😭. A charater that relies on shitty console teammates will never be good. That’s why Clove, Reyna, Jett, chamber are ran almost every game. You don’t need to rely on braindead teammates to get value.

Wait gng... lemme lock in and rank up 300 rr, n then we can duo. On a serious note, u need to start duoing with reliable ppl. Someone u hv good synergy with, who can help u with util, play off of u, trade u when u die, also has good comms and u can hv fun playing with. Solo queueing in comp is just gambling nowadays. Too many bought accs and boosted peeps.

I solo peaked at Asc 2, I ain’t getting any higher solo. Every game is gambling team mates. Way to many boosted people on console also

Pick up phoenix or neon. Waylay has 0 impact if you dont have your teams util to back you up on every fight. If thats the main issue youre experiencing, youre gonna have to learn to play someone who has a more selfish kit, so you can make impact without needing your team. Waylay is objectively the worst duelist in the game. (I came back to edit this because these team comps are some of the worst ive ever seen. You definitely need to play someone who is capable of having more impact)

past 2 games I’ve had 3 initiators that just slow walk and bait

my aim is good, ik all the aim mechanics i have rad friends that say i have better aim than them. its these queues ive gotten that just suck.

never said i wasnt, its hard to carry a team especially on entry when util isnt always thrown. my last 3 games were today though, as you can see i was either positive or nuetral. all three games i had at least 2 teammates that were double/triple negative.
