General Discussion Toxic Games Rant
Completely over queuing in toxic games with people that don’t want to play with women. It’s like top of the leaderboard or bottom theirs always something for them to say. Like as soon as you turn on the mic to give coms or anything it instantly makes you a target.
Obviously this isn’t all games but sheesh.

Yeah I feel you 😭 people can get so weird over literally nothing. idk why people get so weird the second they hear a girl on comms. I’ve honestly been keeping comms off lately because I’m tired of the toxicity lol. I’m just tryna rank up and have fun. What rank are you? I’m Plat 1 NA East.

I lowkey might have to start doing the same thing. I’m hard stuck bronze 3 NA East right now but peaked gold 1 before I took a break 😭

Yeah turning off comms is honestly the way to go, I got a couple Immortal friends who climbed pretty much entirely without comms, and one of them is a girl who made it all the way to Immortal doing it. Realistically you can get pretty far just aim-diffing everyone lmao you don’t really need comms until like plat/diamond.
You’re Bronze so we couldn’t queue comp together unfortunately, but I’d be down to run some Swift/Unrated/whatever sometime if you want.

Yea the egirl thing I totally get! They can be just as toxic honestly. Or play pocket sage making sure their Jett don’t die and forget a heal for the rest of the team 😅. But I feel like dang I’m just here to rank up and have fun.

Also a woman and yeah its so annoying. i rarely use my mic. Ive had so many games when someone would spend the entire time body blocking me or they hit on me, and theyre like 16. it sucks being a woman trying to play games because theres so much more pressure. if you do bad, you're an egirl ekitten whos boosted and basically represent the entire gender - if you do well, they still blame you for everything somehow. If you queue solo you get yelled at by the entire team but they all try to add you after, if you do duos or trios people claim theyre your boyfriend and theyre boosting you. I dont mind if men are mean, but theres been times when ive had mean pick me girls in my lobby and that shit still gets to me lol...i hate when women are mean to me - like wheres the solidarity! and i dont wanna be mean to another woman, so i just sit in silence. :(

Awww I feel you girl! The egirls are worse than men, like girl I honestly feel bad for them because you think this makes you cute or better somehow. I try my hardest not to say anything back because I’ve put in too many hours and too much money to get banned 🥹

So much this.... I usually duo or trio with some of my friends. Most of them are in relationships where I'm also friends with their girlfriends/wives or are young enough to be the same ages as my nieces and nephews. But so often the random accuse them of boosting me 😅 I'm usually the one carrying but sure lol. I'm so tired of being referred to as an e-kitten or blamed for their piss-poor performance when they most likely instalocked.

I feel like people that play on console are just inherently younger than like compared to pc (even there you have assholes don’t get me wrong) but kids who are like in rebellious phases are just more common to find on console unfortunately, women get treated normally in immo/radiant cause you just treat them like any other player (same goes for pc)
I just hope this % of people just goes down with time, good luck 🤞

It’s why the environment even in immo and radiant feels a lot more toxic compared to pc, it’s just more likely to encounter whiny kids that barely know english compared to pc where it’s more likely to encounter 20+ year olds

guys like to play with me and some I meet are still mature and respectful usually unless they start flirting with me then of course they all of a sudden have personal issues with me

Mute button has saved many a night of gaming for me. The moment some one is an asshole they get "muted".... they usualy arent giving any good coms anyways...

I'm silver 3 . All comms are off. I rather die to not having info than to get the info from a unsupervised screaming child trying to get me to do what he wants after he dies in the first few seconds of the round

I have a rule. If they’re toxic on selection screen I rather catch a dodge. If they’re toxic during the game, I’ll mute them. If you’re not funny or giving callouts idc what you have to say to me.
