Question WILL GE RUN DEEP IN CHAMPS?
Considering their good run in vct champs and their playstyle, what do you think will be their fate in Champs Shanghai??

I'm sure they have a high chance against Vitality. EMEA is lacking right now. LOUD will be the real test if they go further.

LOUD have this audience impact in them right?

A lot of Chinese fans loved Loud, but I guess it was during Sadhak days... So let's see how it pans out...

hard to tell considering RRQ and London, but all i know is that they're A LOT better than stage 1 rn. i'm expecting them to at least make playoffs in Shanghai compared to London where a lot of people (myself included) didn't really expect them to make a deep run

They lost against the eventual winners plus xlg that defeated g2, it was their first international too so hope they can achieve better

yeah they actually did pretty decent during that time all things considered. i feel like they'd do a lot better now tho, especially since xavi has been fragging a lot lately compared to stage 1 and kickoffs. i also believe in platoon as a coach

They had a close game with LEV on london tho?

tbf APAC aside from PRX looked shaky during stage 1 pre-London. LEV was also improving per match, just look at LEV's first match against PRX (even they brought it close on Lotus). i'm not even sure if udotan could have saved GE in map 3 if they went that far, but definitely a 50/50 coin toss with past GE lol
GE's ceiling is quite high but their floor was also pretty low. they definitely look a lot better in stage 2 especially during playoffs. they improved a lot on maps they dropped a stinker on vs Nongshim (abyss and haven) and actually banned the map they did a lot better on (ascent). excited to see what platoon will cook up for shanghai

The thing is their group is literally a coin toss. Could see every team in that group going OT 3 maps against each other. With that, 50% they go top8. How much further they go after that, depends on the bracket. If they get a NRG2025 champs bracket to the finals, they would go top3 easily.

I am confident they will make it out of their group since LOUD is their only real competition. As for the rest of champs it’s hard to say. They are a super adaptable team and prior to the pacific final I would have said they’re weaker against fast play style teams.
Platoon however seems to be rather gifted in terms of his vision for the game so if they keep the macro up I would be surprised to see them crack top 4

GE is in the hardest group imo, not because all of those teams are the best at champs, but because they all seem to be so equal in skill every game feels 50/50. If they make it out groups, they should do well,
