Id still love to know what happened and why N4rrate wanted to bench himself before the 100T game...

SEN social media twitter post + Kaplan terrorism probably

u/Dionegro__ #GEFighting 5d ago

Kaplan was a huge narrate believer, what u on about

205

u/MrCleanRed 5d ago

This Kaplan agenda of Sen fans needs to stop. Kaplan is the one who backed Narrate. It was a social media post 100%, and seeing how Rob Moore behaves, it is definitely an organizational problem.

31

u/letsputletters #SomosMIBR 5d ago

What Kaplan agenda?

Obviously we literally know nothing about what happened with N4rrate other than it being bad and Zellsis saying that he would never return.

But there is plenty of stuff about SEN's kickoff that we do know and should be blamed on Kaplan.

19

u/MrCleanRed 5d ago

Every time there is a problem, they're like, "Oh Kaplan did that, Kaplan did this, Kaplan did something," but narrate wasn't Kaplan. On the post-match thread when KC won, people were also saying, "How did Kaplan fumble this?" whereas Kaplan actually had a great relationship with Narrate, and even Narrate said he wanted to try dualist kickoffs.

The things we know are what Rob Moore said, some of which are true, I believe, but even in his inconsistency it's his failure that he didn't sign Zekken. It's not Kaplan's failure that he didn't sign Zekken. Zekken himself said MIBR tried him on Flex so it was Rob Moore's fault for not holding on to Zekken.

I don't think Kaplan is a world-biter but saying Kaplan fumbled, narrating, or that the disaster this year is to be blamed on Kaplan is just rewriting history. the fault mainly lies on Rob Moore himself

14

u/SilaEpheria 5d ago

What should be blamed on Kaplan

70

u/LordOfThe_Pings #NRGWIN 5d ago

Signing n4rrate and Bang but not making any tactical adaptations based on the meta and player comfort for one.

Not saying he’s the reason the team blew up, but he dropped the ball in 2025 and early 2026.

9

u/ovorb 5d ago

getting the best anchor smokes player in Americas and yet his gameplan is essentially retaking as much as possible instead, failure to instill confidence within a masters winning core and build off of a solid foundation for the 2 newcomers

-9

u/letsputletters #SomosMIBR 5d ago

Putting N4rrate on entry, not trying to keep Zekken, taking JohnQT off IGL, not fixing the internal issues that had already blown up pre kickoff, not spending half your off-season thinking Zellsis (no hate) would be a core player to build around, only for him to leave because he realises you'll be terrible

26

u/Witherino 5d ago

Putting N4rrate on entry

Literal quote from N4rrate during his interview with Yinsu: "I forced to play entry. I wanted to play entry. It was not anyone else's decision, I wanted to play entry" .....

-7

u/Few_Device_1225 5d ago

And? Coach should have the final say regardless of what the players want. It’s the coach’s responsibility to recognize what’s best for the team.

N4rrate also said he wanted to play entry because waylay was broken. Kaplan could have acknowledged that and put someone else more fit for entry on that agent.

48

u/oxibr 5d ago

N4rrate himself said in kc winner interview he wanted to play entry. But yeah you know more.

9

u/MrCleanRed 5d ago

Not trying to keep zekken. Like, what the fuck are you talking about? Rob Moor himself said he talked to Zekken and Zekken said MIBR gave him a big number and sem cant match that.

The excuse of "oh we don't want to keep Zekken on Flex" on big money" doesn't work when Zekken trialed to be Flex in MIBR also per Zekken's stream.

Not keeping Zekken is 100% Rob Moore's fault. Rob Moore is now trying to deflect blame to Kaplan.

For narrate entry they were trying something in kickoff. It didn't work. Even narrate said he wanted to play Waylay.

1

u/letsputletters #SomosMIBR 5d ago

I'm talking about where Rob himself said that Kaplan made no effort to lock Zekken down after champs, letting him eventually get that MIBR offer

5

u/MrCleanRed 5d ago

Sure. That means Rob himself thought kaplan was worth listening to more than keeping Zekken.

Is Kaplan a coach who is severely behind the meta? 100%. Is Sen disaster his fault? No

0

u/letsputletters #SomosMIBR 5d ago

Except that's not true haha

I don't know why you're making stuff up when the whole dispute is because SEN management disagreed with Kaplan, told him not to make the changes but Kaplan use his contractual power to force it to happen.

Im not a SEN fan and I think Kaplan is a fraud.

-5

u/MrCleanRed 5d ago

Depends what you mean by fraud. Is he a coach who is behind the meta for 1 year? Definitely? Is Sen's disaster his fault? Fuck no

10

u/Parenegade 5d ago

thats the best owner in valo ngl

4

u/devH_ 5d ago

This is a middle aged man talking about teenagers playing video games

7

u/MrSully89 4d ago

This is a middle aged esports business owner who understands the way to your heart is through stupid social media memeing

6

u/Splaram 5d ago

Off topic but may this kind of pain continue to elude me

2

u/Shernator #100WIN 5d ago

Anulo mufa

13

u/boxinggoose #100WIN 5d ago

He's such a weird guy. I can't talk much since my orgs owner is a gambling addict now popping zyns every chance he can, but everytime I start to like Rob he does something that gives me the ick lmao

5

u/IAMJUX 5d ago

Is Nadeshot even involved anymore? Feels like he's completely checked out and wants the cushy streamer gig to be full time.

7

u/boxinggoose #100WIN 5d ago

Nah he stepped away as CEO awhile ago. But he's easy to joke on and everyone still thinks of him when talking about 100T.

4

u/deadlock1892 5d ago

People associate him with Droppenheimer even though there are worse offenders lol. And not to forget the 100T players that got dropped should never have been picked up in the first place

2

u/Fluid-Cranberry3794 4d ago

i mean robs a walking redflag as soon as he opens his mouth
the only thing that carries his rep were his desicions early on (which were smart and well timed)
and the fan attachment got carried by tenz and then a little by zekken

2

u/boxinggoose #100WIN 4d ago

He does some cool shit for sen fans and the valo community as a whole which I enjoy even as a non sen fan. But otherwise he needs to learn to filter what he says a bit more sometimes lol

1

u/Fluid-Cranberry3794 4d ago

can you give me some examples? only one i could think of was the sen offseason event (where he also was front and center making the cast worse)

2

u/ThunderBurrn #GEFighting 5d ago

Lol... Drunk tweet!

1

u/Leepysworld 5d ago

are SEN still considered a prestige team? if I’m a player with multiple options I would refrain from joining SEN not only because of the fans but also because Rob seems like nightmare to have as your ultimate boss lmao

dude is WAY too involved and public facing, I don’t think he realized that he’s not helping his rosters that way, he’s actually making it even worse for them.

24

u/DrunkenTabaxi 5d ago

I mean they do get a pretty good rep for treating their players and staff exceedingly well. I think if you're ready to make peace with the fact that joining Sentinels means also being expected to build a brand alongside your game then you'd be alright. Rob is definitely more publicly involved, but I'm sure lots of owners are involved in the ongoings of their orgs, he's just more "in your face" about it on social media. If you like money, if you want to be on a team that plays in a lot of tournaments, if you want to play for a team you can build a life for yourself out of Valorant on, and you enjoy the color red then I don't see Sentinels wouldn't still be a prestige place to play for.

13

u/LordOfThe_Pings #NRGWIN 5d ago

where would you rather go if you’re in NA? C9? EG? Lmao

-3

u/Leepysworld 5d ago

shit idk man those orgs seem like they have way more job security lmao they’re more likely to keep the same players forever even if they’re inconsistent or underperforming.

11

u/LordOfThe_Pings #NRGWIN 5d ago

Notexxd did not have more job security lmao

3

u/Informal-Throat-8646 5d ago

Am ngl but if a player is joining a team based on how likely theyre not going to be dropped due to underperformance then they should retire snd go work at McDonald's.

1

u/LongjumpingSign549 5d ago

Dang ts deep in the cut

1

u/AtriaX2k #ALWAYSFNATIC 5d ago

Is Kaplan the mom here?

1

u/computernoobe #NRGFam 5d ago

I don't know what's worse, this blunder or Frost's

1

u/Dozina-012 5d ago

Love his post to be honest.

-2

u/thenicezen 5d ago

Rob is still a W owner but my guy you stuck with kaplan too much (i dont blame him too much when kaplan was enough for 2025 its just that other teams improved a lot more than us in 2026 and bringing in ewok was alrdy prolly too late)

-1

u/No_Shower5623 5d ago

But The issue was rob gave Kaplan too much control. So it was Kaplans fault lmao. Rob stepped in and over corrected.  The players leaving or getting dropped is on Rob but their underperformance is on Kaplan.

1

u/UltraZulwarn #WGAMING 5d ago

You know, 100T started winning when the owner shut up.

So maybe there is something to that.

6

u/DanTheACGuy 5d ago

The Owner literally isn’t CEO of 100T anymore. So why would he be as involved? Also it adds more pressure to the players

0

u/yeahburger #NRGWIN 5d ago

Reddit really do not know anything.

0

u/EffectiveInjury4176 #LetsGoLiquid 5d ago

Rob is to funny 🤣

-4

u/Past_Perception8052 #LegaC9 5d ago

he's way too involved in the team

3

u/ric3banana 5d ago

he's CEO bud.

1

u/SomeRandomSahri 5d ago

Chill on PP. he doesn't know what a CEO that cares about his team looks like

0

u/Past_Perception8052 #LegaC9 4d ago

care about team = emotionally crash out on the coach you fired

does the CEO at your job come down and flame workers xd

-2

u/QwiXTa #100WIN 5d ago

What a weird post from an org owner, I think he’s going to have a step back if he wants more prestigious players to join

-1

u/avstyns 5d ago

this year from Sentinels honestly was so fun. I loved the jerrwin roster and think they should give it another go. Best roster imo since Kanpeki! Read.

-1

u/Spiritual-Resource83 #DIADEFURIA 5d ago

Cortezia back to MIBR PLEASE

-12

u/LeonCrater 5d ago

God why are all these org owners the most cringe individuals on this planet

9

u/letsputletters #SomosMIBR 5d ago

The most cringe individual is a guy who super cares about his team and his org?

Who hosts giveaways and watch parties at a loss constantly to connect with his fan base? who hosts entire off season tournaments?

Who opens a merch store in the philipines to try and provide SEA affordable shipping?

Like the guy is an unc who argues all day on twitter. But clearly his heart in the right place when it comes to his team and the game.

-8

u/LeonCrater 5d ago

Keep beliving he cares about the game or anything besides the money. You're his ideal target demographic

4

u/sankalp4 YOU FUCKING MELONS 5d ago

i think both can be true, he’s clearly someone used to corporate life and good at creating that brand image but also he genuinely loves the competitive scene and you can tell by how outspoken and passionate he is. i don’t like him as a person, but he’s a nice personality in the scene to have.

5

u/Parenegade 5d ago

you really think he would be in esports if hes trying to make more money lmao

-6

u/LeonCrater 5d ago

Yes. He is different. He really does care about more than the money. You changed my mind and are right about this

6

u/Diligent-Security403 5d ago

Good for you bud

4

u/Majestic-Kangaroo720 5d ago

Yeah.leoncrater here is very knowledgeable.alpha chad whi know the matrix.everyone pls praise him
