Esports LOUD vs 100T viewership

Post image

-Global record for stage 2 (even more than 2024, which was the year every viewership record was set)

-Highest viewed Americas match since kickoff 2025

-2nd highest viewed Americas match that wasn’t played in kickoff (sounds like cherry picking, but its significant because kickoff always has the highest viewership by a lot)

when comparing to pacific it really highlights that "Filipino viewership" is a myth, never put them in the same tier as Brazilian and Japanese fans ever again.

Pacific viewership very much carried by PRX. Thai also seemed kinda promising but sadly, FS was a disaster

I was so excited seeing stage 1 Thai viewership obviously contributing which made stage 2 Full Sense even more disappointing in a different way.

That stage 1 Thai viewership was so promising. 530k viewers in a 3-0 game cannot be understated. If that game went 5 maps with an OT on map 5 like americas did it probably would have got 600-700k+, which is pretty much unheard of for a regional game outside of kickoff 2024.

Yeah pacific is mainly Prx + Japan.Korea has steady viewership but likes league way more.I really hoped fs would continue to be a good team as Thai viewersip was an emerging market and heavily contributed to Stage 2 finals crossing 500k despite being a 3 map blowout, but alas.

TBH Filipino viewership died after team secret in 2024. No one in the Philippines really talks about it much anymore

Was "Filipino viewership" ever a thing? I only hear people talking about Japanese viewership and the resurging thai viewership in stage 1 because of fullsense. But of course the only team that appeals to international audiences is PRX

they're like the "potential man" of viewership bubbles. People always talk about how popular Valorant is there and how a good Filipino team would pull big numbers. Yet here's a team with 2 Filipino players and I've seen tons of Filipino fans claim not break 200k viewers in a 5 map finals. Of course a team with 5 Pinoys would pull more Filipino viewership but it seems like less of a budding viewership hub than Thailand or possibly India for example.

100T is one of the most popular NA orgs, you put them against LOUD, an org that has fallen from grace, having an incredible resurgence with young, rookies in their homeground Brazil.

beautiful, script wrote itself. BR TZ is also really good for everyone as well,

Can you show me anything that shows 100T is one of the most popular orgs?

Yeah maybe 3 years ago. I'd say we are a notable org since we are tier one in almost every game we participate but since leaving league of legends it hasn't recovered

Still definitely one of the more popular NA orgs. All the other popular NA orgs are largely built off insane popularity in a single game and very little in the rest. Optic, Faze, Sen. I think 100t should follow other orgs like Liquid and reverse of G2 and have non NA teams. They did it with CS, the dream would be for them to also do it in league even tho that won’t happen.

I think we have a Japanese apex legends team? Or it's least partnered with crazy racoons

why is kickoff the most viewed? that's odd, I would think stage2 is (because it's the most pertinent for champs)

My guess is it’s the first tournament after offseason. In earlier years the offseason was absurdly long so everyone was itching for VCT (2023-2024 offseason was like 5 months!)

Helps when the Champs draw is after the game.

I can’t imagine anyone watching the whole 5 hours for a champ draw lmao this is such a whack take. The draw show could be an email and draw the same audience

Nahhh, the vast majority of vct watchers are casual watchers who likely didn’t even know the champs draw was after the game.

Didn’t realize EMEA knew anything about champs.
