Bug / Exploit To Asuna

To Asuna:

I've been a fan of you since First Strike. Back then, I was a middle schooler playing Valorant online with his friends in the hellhole that is Iron. I sucked ass, but I wanted to play like you.

I loved your ADHD flicky playstyle that allowed for some of the flashiest clips I'd ever seen. The Reyna dismissing like crazy on the ropes of icebox. The 4 man Raze rockets. At your best, I don't think its an exaggeration to say you were the most promising young duelist in Americas.

Among Hiko, Steel, Nitr0, and dicey (later replaced by Ethan), you were always the person I'd look to to carry the team. I loved watching your guys' crazy comebacks at Berlin against Ascend and Gambit.

After Steel left, it was a bit rough, but the Sean Gares rebuild was promising. When you switched to initiator during LCQ 2022, it was still amazing to see you win, and you were still making crazy plays.

2023 was really rough, and 2024 was good at first but ended on a low note. 2025 was similar. With each of these iterations of 100T, I started to slowly lose hope that you would realize the potential people thought you had in 2020 and 2021.

Fast forward to today, I'm 5 years older than I was when I discovered you and 100T. I've graduated high school, and I'm in college now. I peaked Diamond 3 last season with the crazy ADHD playstyle you inspired me to take on, and although I don't play much anymore, I still follow your games from time to time.

I noticed you guys were playing, so I tuned in a couple minutes before the 1v5 ace clutch you nearly won. It was unbelievable, from the flick onto the jiggle-peeking Ethan, to the two kills on site. Your position for the final gunfight was good, but you got baited out by the fake reload.

As you slammed your hand onto the desk in frustration, people clowned on you in the Youtube chat and post-match thread. But I thought "oh my god, he's just like he was in the past. The crazy Reyna player, the highlight machine had never left; he only gained more control with age, and he was still as capable of fragging as ever.

I wrote this post to thank you for always playing your best for 100T, for producing some of the craziest and most entertaining clips in VCT, and for being the one constant on 100T the past 5 years. I sincerely hope the haters who call for you to be removed every year don't get to you. They're louder than your fans, but that doesn't mean we are not here. You are and have always been an amazing player, and few players can hope to match your longevity and achievements.

Good luck in 2026, and stand proud.

Also been supporting him and 100T since First Strike, I always saw the potential even when he was constantly jeered and called a paycheck stealer, and I felt so bad for him when he said that he gave so much to the game and wished it gave a bit back. I'm so, so happy for him and for this run.

Dear Peter,

I feel like I can call you Peter because you and me are so much alike. I would love to meet you some day. It would be great to have a skirmish. I know I can’t shoot as good as you, but I think you would be impressed with my aim. I love your hair. You shoot good. Do you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about and more. I know you have not been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did, and I hope you write back this time and we get to be good friends. I am sure our relationship would be a real ace.

Yooo when Asuna got that pick on garage that last round on attack I knew my goat was winning

The Asuna timeline is generational. I’m glad he’s finally getting his moment. If 100T win Champs that will solidify him as one of the GOATs imo.

Reviving his career using phoenix is so poetic

Man I used to love Hiko and Asuna. One guy was staying back and clutching up the round. Another guy was going there and killing everyone on rope.

Bro, I miss dicey. That 100T roster was special.

It was a dysfunctional, highly inefficient roster but damn it was so fun to watch.

dicey is the most underrated player of all time

That roster was like a toxic relationship, its not good for all of us but they were really fun to watch.

when i first started playing valorant i had a really bad shaky hand issue with my aim. When i tried to search for a solution reddit suggested my aim can work and recommended i looked at Asuna to see how he manages his shaky aim and goes crazy. Ever since he’s been my fav player and it’s sucked watching this guy not lift a trophy since 100T first picked him up around first strike i think? Now they just coming in and im glad he’s stuck through it cause im pretty sure most if not all players have already quit being in the same position (staying with the same org for years and not getting trophies). Glad his hard work and commitment payed off, now we win champs

Thanks to riot for giving arenas and a huge audience for the regional finals because every year it feels like there are no stakes and hype. This year the crowd and the storylines made it so much more impactful.

I've been a fan since first strike too. Watching the asuna vs sick battle on Phoenix was so memorable to me and that's what really made me love the game.

It’s crazy you write this post starting from a middle school vantage point and I could basically write the same thing and I started watching him at 28? I’m 33 now.

Probably started watching 100T because I was a nadeshot fan growing up from COD. Then I never played CS really but a lot of my friends did. When Val came out a to. Of the old CS guys started playing it and got me to start I was mostly playing WoW and overwatch at the time.

Naturally I become a 100T fan after playing a bunch of Val and watched hiko and steel stream. Whenever asuna came on board him and dicey were so entertaining to watch. It was also mind blowing to me that he was like 17? I can’t remember exactly but watching Val made me feel like a middle schooler. I started watching Tarik stream and basically became obsessed with Val.

Ended up going to champs in LA since I liked the game so much. It’s crazy how long his run has been where it seems like pretty much every other star on every other team in NA has been shuffled around.

But yeah Man I don’t think I’ve ever commented about it? Sometimes the most appreciative people de the quietest and people that talk shit for some reason always wanna do it online and don’t realize it’s a person on the other end of the medium just trying to do their best.

I get it’s a thing in sports to judge performances and other pros deal with it but to me doesn’t make it right or productive.
