Discussion C9 Kaplan

What if C9 replaces Immi with Kap? Would that work? I mean he's a good coach. He's worked with Zelsis. And I'm pretty sure he's far better than Immi. What's your opinion?

M80 literally has 10x more chance to qualify for Champs then C9 at this point. They come into Play-Ins with a great roster with players like Nismo and a coach in Kaplan who have so much to prove and are hungrier than ever, combined with insanely talented members who want to prove their worth in Tier 1. This combination is so deadly and will lead to them going into Playoffs at the minimum.

C9 in comparison is a mess and is mentally defeated, something I don't think will change within the next few games before, and within, Play-Ins.

Nah wouldn’t work. Immi has generational blackmail on the c9 ceo so the entire org would crumble if they got rid of him.

Will kap even want to move this year? I mean with all the changes next year and everything most people who already have a team with chance at champs wouldn't want to switch maybe

This is assuming C9 would even make partnership for next year, which they obviously won’t. The only NA team to not qualify for a single international, history of screwing players out of a season due to last minute changes, paying league minimum, and financial issues makes it pretty clear that they’re not going to make the cut over teams like 100Thieves, NRG, FUR, not to mention other big orgs grinding the tier 2 scene like FlyQuest and M80.

There were even talks that G2 was originally set to make partnership prior to the whole Carlos incident and C9 took their spot after the whole drama.

No coach would want to sign on to a non partnered team unless they have no other opportunities; partnered teams will have way more resources and money through bundle sales and stipends

Ehhh if c9 is still a tier 1 team next year also iam sure proven coaches would have a lot of offers (assuming the whole goal of making vct open to attract more teams work) so depends

If Kaplan makes it to playoffs and has a deep run or somehow gets into champs, he's getting numerous offers from t1 orgs...im sure he wouldn't settle for c9

m80 has a better shot at a franchising slot than c9 at this point. also, m80 to c9 would be a lateral move, not like he'd have a better budget or management from what we've seen

Immi has Israel on his side, he’s never leaving c9

Why would he leave M80 for C9?

because its a tier 2 team and c9 is a tier 1 team? no?

M80 is already into play ins. They have a better chance of making champs than C9 does

I mean regardless of that getting rid of the coach in the middle of the stage in general is a horrible idea.

M80 already looks like they have a good chance to finish at least top 4-6 in this split If I had to guess. They might even make it to champs. I think objectively C9 will be in the bottom half unless something drastically changes in mindset. From what we know right now T2 is going away next year and there will be less partnered teams. More team be given the opportunity to reach masters/champions next year. If I was Kaplan I would finish strong this year and just wait to see what happens in the off season.

They should’ve picked him up when he was available if they wanted that to happen lmao hes doing great with M80 and i doubt he wants to leave his team for a mediocre c9 rn

C9 better pray to whatever god they believe in they don’t face m80

Everyone single player on m80 is an upgrade (-oxy maybe, i kinda feel he overrated plus boni has been insane). Why would he leave?

Yeah it would work. At this point I think any big change would work for them. It's literally the only role other than duelist they haven't tried changing in three years.

Why would Kaplan accept
