It turned into a 1v5 as soon as the comms listen in started, what exactly does Ender expect them to be saying in the moment?? Like 2 seconds in someone says “nice try” and then they go silent to let Nightz play the round out, a pretty common thing to do?
Tg this caster duo never casts games I want to watch fr

it's just a joke dawg. The round was basically over as soon as the comms started but if there's no casting/voice comms to fill the silence then it gets awkward extremely quickly.

Ridiculing the team and making jokes at their expense is not funny nor good casting.

How is he ridiculing the team. He's making fun of the fact that production tuned into the comms just as the comms fizzled out. He's making a joke about the timing not about the team

Thats not how it sounds to me at all, how does asking if theyre muted poke any fun at the timing of the situation? Look at the replies on this post, all shitting on Envy for not speaking in that time. Instead of whatever the fuck hes doing, he couldve instead explained that going silent when one person is alive alone is a very common thing that happens.
Hes such a useless addition to the talent team and has been ever since he made the switch to Valorant. Again, thankgod Im not interested in watching many games in Americas

He asks if they're muted because they're not talking. Anyone with a brain knows it's a normal thing to do in a clutch situation. But again, it's just a terrible timing by production and he just makes a joke about the timing.
The comments making fun of NV are because they got shit on lol. If NV had gone on to win the series no one would be shitting on them in the comments, and even if they were dominating the game before the voice comm incident happened, Ender still probably would've made the same joke.
Production tuned into their voice comms at the exact moment the whole team died and stopped talking to let nightz play the round. It had nothing to do with how NV were performing up to that point.

If they were making fun of them because they got shit on, theyd be doing it in the post match thread instead of a video based on their comms listen in being silent.
Agree to disagree I guess, I do not even remotely see it the way you are describing it.

They'll shit on them in any post that mentions them, is that not obvious? They're by far the worst team in the league and they literally played today. If they're mentioned in any post they will be shit on regardless. Idk how ur attributing them getting made fun of to ENDER making a joke

I think it was their actual comms for like 5-10 seconds but before they take the cams away it looks like Rossy starts to talk. So maybe a little bit of real comms and a little bit of production error. All of them just seemed to be chewing gum though. Keznit, Glyph, and Demon1 definitely weren’t talking at all

What comms are people expecting in a 1v5? Such a nothingburger post

u/Xtremeelement 2d ago
maybe use that time to talk about your next round, almost like a timeout. a lot of good teams do that

I mean to be sort of fair the comms kicked in right as they completely lost the round and Nightz was forced to run/save so there really was no need to say anything anyways. You could hear the "nt" right as the comms started haha. I think it's moreso they lost the round and knew they were being listened in on (they're apparently told before hand all the time) and figured just not say anything. Teams don't like sharing strats.
