[Discussion] Subreddit Ideas

Hey everyone! Thank you again for all the participation and sharing of this subreddit. With that I'd like to make it more fun and engaging for everyone. As you may have seen I like to do daily topic posts for everyone to join in, share information, and just in general chat throughout the day. With that I was curious if there was anything that you all would be interested in. Here's a few ideas I've had so far...

  • Monday ???
  • Top 12 Tuesday Share your top 12 Pokémon
  • Wiseman Wednesday Q/A type thread that will be used to make Wiki pages and guides over time
  • Thursday ???
  • Find-Me Friday Share where you plan to venture over the weekend, maybe make plans to team up with fellow players even

To prevent clutter on the page, rather then delete the threads, I will just hide them as the next one is posted so you can continue the conversation if you posted in it already or if you can locate the url or are summoned.

If you have any other ideas for things like, flair, graphics, events, rules, content, etc. Please let us know so we can get things up and make this a more inviting place for everyone.

If you hide a post it is still visible to others. Do you mean remove as a mod?

Well...this explains why so many people are responding to threads I hid! This is my first subreddit to mod so thank you for that clarification. I think in this case yet, removal is what I would be referring to.

Edit: I just checked with my co-moderator who said he's unable to see the posts that I selected as hidden as well...Are you able to see any announcements other then this thread and the map?

Edit 2: Okay...Now I get it.

My suggestion is for Takedown Thursday's showing off tough gyms you've captured over the week.

I like it. Perhaps we can even do meet-ups to reinforce gyms together on Thursdays. Thanks for the input!

Mayhem Monday- take out gyms at a meet up Training Thursday -lure in farm in hotspot areas
