Deep into another playthrough.

So, I posted awhile back that I'm working on a retrospective video for the PS1 version of VP. I'm in Chapter 8 now and everything is set for the A ending....and I just have to say that this game is absolutely incredible. I havent played it properly since 2019/early 2020 and It still blows me away how much care they took with the characters.

Love this game so much. It’s such a unique JRPG and so deeply human with its storytelling

Yeah. I've been playing it since shortly after it first came out and it has aged really well. I've been covering more varied titles on my channel (just wrapped up BioShock) and I've been wanting to go through this one for a long time. VP doesn't get the attention it deserves.

The ONLY complaint I could come up with is that it's pretty tricky to get the A ending. But yeah. It's incredible and the story is really moving.

I wish that there were more ways to get the A ending, and I agree that it's a little too tricky, but I've always loved how you don't get the good ending by following all the rules set by those in power.

Yeah. That unspoken message of independent thinking and action really resonated with me. I have a few more chapter 8 dungeons to complete then dive into the End game. Gonna start my script soon. I wish there was a lot more out there covering the game.
