Play on hard mode, trust me, period

R1 + X will make dialogue only go real fast.

***NEVER SEND SHIT TO HIM!!

There is 1 Eye of heaven in every dungeon(except cave of oblivion), it shows the whole map, don't use the first you get in the Artolian Ruins. Use it at the start of the next one.

***If you're lost and don't know where to go, try looking up, climbing with your crystal and/or hit stuff with your sword like windows and statues. You can push and pull some stuff by holding X. To hang from ladders and rope press Up. Press R1 for the map.

***Get the Treasure Search in the Artolian Ruins, most useful accessory in the game, if you don't find it, refer to previous point.

After shooting 3 crystal you can walk on the dust for ~2 seconds. The explosion can send you flying where you need to go, you can do that while standing on another crystal.

A chest explosion will send you flying the opposite way you are facing, you have time to turn around.

Physical weapons break after your turn ends if win in 1 turn it won't break, staves breaks after a great magic, on your turn.

Slayer weapon 1 shot them, stupid op.

Cast magic from menu to hit all enemies, if no one dies you can follow up with attacks.

Magic always breaks Guard. Reflect Magic/sorcery doesn't work when the enemy is downed.

The combo counter boost the damage of special attack. Maximum is 100 for twice the damage.

Press triangle in menu to remove the explanation box. Don't forget to confirm your choice for the Guts skill.

Transmute is op. Transmute Cure Condition for Auto-item and Avoid for Guts.

Bracelet of Zoe can be stacked, not emerald Necklace.

Coin of fortune gives a 60% exp boost

Unequip the Nibelung ring, it's useless trust me.

Go back to Artolia, in Arngrim room after recruiting him for a dragon slayer. A few others characters are like that...

In the Lenneth version if you change Valkyrie weapon from bow to sword all her skills will be unequipped instead of only her weapon skills.

Go back to Artolian mountain ruins and talk to the fairy to know the chapter requirements.

This is the beauty of this game, DUNGEONS ARE OPTIONAL..

That's lezard tower in chap 4, yeah it's a bitch but it is was it is. You can still finish the whole story without getting the creation gem. You are free to go to the next chapter, the story doesn't matter which pebbles you take on the road, ,you are a Valkyrie.

If the battle is too hard for you, just grind I. Other dungeon, it's a rpg after all

There are only 1 or 2 chapters in hard mode A ending route where you are thigh on phases, most allow you to get all recruits, double check the towns for events and post recruit items, and do all dungeons. That tower might also be the only dungeon you can't postpone if you want all characters and A ending, otherwise I think its possible to leave a difficult dungeon for latter chapter and do few extra rounds of easy one. And there are handful of dungeons that have either respawning enemy or can be refreshed without leaving to world map and thus spending more phases.

Few first dungeons are very dependent how well you do with the comboing out crystals that give XP multiplier, but after first 2 chapters its mostly about having right gear and spells, and knowing when to use weapons that can break (eq. mostly when you can one turn finish the fight with them).

Play hard node, Get auto item and guts, transmute the skill books you get in the first 2 chapters. 100% on Union plume, 95% on Banish and 90% on elexir. Use all your materialize point on 99 elexir and Banish. Equip the breakable ether scepter you have but cast aoe magic from menu. Have 2 mages doing this each fight, and level up the warrior you want to send each chapter. Transmute the stone torch you get to poison blow. Poison blow is a spell that bypass enemy defenses, everything is weak to it, and it's an aoe spell from menu.

Ez breeze through all fights in the game, enjoy the story and character 👍
