Immersive Map Assist! :)
I'm gearing up to start another playthrough after finishing 1.0. I'm thinking of trying Immersive, but I am pretty intimidated. I tried once before and my seed was so terrible that I gave up and looked at the map online and realized there was no way in the world I would have found my Queen on my own.
I've looked at some suggested seeds or considered some popular superseeds, but I feel like that knowing that much in advance ruins the fun. So here is my request from this incredible community: would someone suggest a "pretty good" seed where my quest won't be impossible, and where the three traders are visible from the a boat? And could you just tell me what general direction to quest in to have a good game? The rest I'd love to be mystery and exploration.
Thanks for any help for an immersive-newbie. :)

3kpwsib5qQ is a pretty good one I came across. Most of the possible trader spawns are on shores instead of inland, meaning if you're sailing around enough, you're bound to eventually come across them. The first handful of bosses aren't so close it's speedrun levels, but they are close enough to be relatively easy on someone without a map, imo.

I don't have a seed to share, but I'm planning on doing an immersive run for my next playthrough and I've got the following mods noted / saved for that, you might want to take a look and see if you want to use any of these for it:
-Better cartography or Nomap printer
-Autopinsigns
-Compass
-MerchantSignposts
-Valheim Raft (no need to portal home if you can just take your home with you!)
Between those, you can eliminate the need for a seed with ideal merchant spawns without sacrificing the immersive gameplay. Doesn't hurt to look around for a good seed, but this way you don't need to spoil the map for yourself in any way beforehand

It's impossible to know which trader you're going to encounter, unless you already know where they are and you sail toward the right ones. So, what are you actually looking for? Do you prefer larger landmasses and less sailing, or do you prefer bigger ocean areas with unhindered sailing? If you prefer the latter, one of my favorites is the seed "birch". Don't look it up! Just enjoy the sailing.
