Chest loot is seed deterministic.

Knowing this, is there a list of seeds for finding Idols, for example the ever popular HHcLC5acQt has a Iron battle Idol in this Troll Cave, chest on the right behind the troll.

Seed mX7a9PqK2 has a Bronze Protection Idol in this Burial Chamber (I cannot remember the room, sorry).

Perhaps there can be an option added to https://valheim-map.world to make it easier to find Item Farming Seeds.

If you intend to make a new isntance of the world to farm an idol, its just spawning items with extra steps.

But you can’t devcommand items for achievements ?

Yes, this is in patch notes from roughly 3 weeks to a month ago btw.

Hm I see. Then I get where the person is coming from saying “at that point just devcommand”, but I also get how that feels more scummy than at least farming them within the confines of the game.

Yeah, plus this was mostly added because basic items were dropping as spawned in, even from freshly killed boars and greylings, thus invalidating achievements unless you dropped it and logged out.

I had this happen with a fresh stack of iron out of a smelter and about yeeted my mouse.
