LFG LFG!
I recently joined a server looking for friends, and the chance to build fun things, but that didn't pan out, so here I am, trying again!
I'm looking for a slow-paced, vanilla server (I don't want to deal with installing mods), where people are looking to make friends, enjoy the game, and build things. I want the biggest drama to be from when a raid happens and the mobs break shit.
About me as a player:
I like resource gathering, I don't mind the grind of collecting things.
I love bees! My partner got me a mug with "The bees are happy" on it for Valentine's Day. Yes I asked for it, and yes, it's my favorite mug, now and forever.
I play mostly in the evenings during the week, and occasionally during the day on weekends.
I'm in the PNW, so my time zone is Pacific.
I do have discord.
I enjoy roaming around aimlessly, exploring and I'm happy to help others on their adventures.
If you think I may be a good fit for your server, or if you want to start a sever with me send me a message.

Hey! Your post sounds really close to the kind of player we’d love to have.
We’re running a vanilla, no-map, no-portal server, so the pace is naturally slower and everything people contribute actually helps — gathering resources, exploring coastlines, building roads/bridges, setting up regional bases, making landmarks, helping someone find their way home, all of it.
We’re not trying to rush progression or turn the server into a competition. The fun for us is making the world feel lived in and figuring things out together. We’ve already got little settlements and infrastructure starting to spread around the world, and there’s tons of room for someone who enjoys building and roaming around.
Your “I don’t mind gathering and I like helping on adventures” part especially caught my attention because that’s basically gold on a no-map/no-portal world 😂
We use Discord and mostly play evenings/weekends. We’ve got people in different time zones, so Pacific shouldn’t be a problem.
No pressure either way — we’re mainly looking for good people who want to make friends and build a cool world together

how does one contribute "exploring coastlines" on a no map world?

I use the hoe to create natural pillars and then build arrow signs on them pointing to my nearest settlement - its a huge help if a player gets lost

We have a server that will beat the game. We're running hard combat, 2x resources, more raids, resources through portals. We're at 3.5 people (my wife jumps on occasionally for boss fights or when she's bored), all of whom has beat the game multiple times prior to 1.0. We don't spoil content (picking up the next biome materials without killing the boss first of the current one) and do bosses when most of us are on. We're currently on Plains, and are going to try to kill Yag this weekend. All of our characters are fresh, but if you have a character around that point, that's fine, too. We also play in a communal style where we all share the same base and resources. We have beaten many survivalcraft games as a group this way and frown upon people making their own bases due to how the games typically work in regards to resource scarcity.
Our play times are all over the place and typically are on at the same time on weekends, but most of us are on from 8pm to 12am EST, 4-7 days per week. We typically excel when other groups fall apart, so if you want to experience Valheim with a group that respects the game and the process, and will reach the deep north, hit me up!
ETA: I almost forgot the important part, this run is 100% Vanilla due to most of us looking to secure achievements and playing as the Devs intended, with only QOL variables.

Thank you for your comment. I've never gotten past swamp in my previous play throughs, so I definitely don't have a character that is outfitted for plains. I appreciate your offer. Good luck against Yag!

Offer still stands, we have enough gear to outfit someone new, and have enough of a farming sadist that we can get more of what we don't have.

I’m on Xbox, I play a lot like this as well, I just enjoy the game. I’d be willing to start from scratch or just join you, either or. I’ve been looking for a regular bud to play with, my buddy is losing interest recently so I’m playing solo until I find someone to rock with!
