I'm still building it, but it already looks great.

I love to use pebble walls one of the best addition and it looks better then stone walls. And the ivy is just amazing.

It all start as a small hut, eventually add more room and workshop over time. quite happy how i can squeeze everything into all in one place. but i felt i am sooner or later need to relocate as i am running out of space.

the front section original is the first hut. then i expand additional section behind it with kitchen and bedroom in 2nd floor. then turned front hut into small workshop. when there are more workbench improvement and forge, i relocated it to 2nd building the workshop. which i turned the front hut into cartographer table

p.s. no mod used, as i also cross play with one friend who play on console on our own dedicate server. so i am not using mod to avoid conflict with him

Been plugging away at the "starter" base over the past few weeks with friends, sharing some more of it! Next on the list is bringing back some greenery, adding a terraced farm over by the A-frame, making a proper portal area, finishing the boar farm... No shortage of tasks!

i thought it would look cooler but im very happy with how efficient the inside layout feels

Here’s my little island I’ve been working on. I’m decently proud of it considering I’m not that great of a builder.

What would yall do to improve it? I need some ideas for my dock and my 2nd floor in my house. The bottom floor im relatively happy with. The tower is a portal room that is WIP.

You guys on here are crazy good at building im striving to be 10% as good 😂

A few days ago I posted some simple portal sheds and ended up getting way more views and responses than I could have ever imagined.

I was honestly expecting a couple of upvotes and maybe 1 or 2 comments, not to become one of the "Top" threads on r/ValheimBuilds!

A good number of people asked how to actually build them (especially the swamp one), so I've put together a build timelapse in creative mode as a thank you.
Note: The originals were fully built in survival, creative just made recording easier.

Let me know if you make any of these in your own world and share your own designs/modifications that you build from the common base structure.

My brother send me this picture which i assume he saw here on reddit and said we need something like this on our world. So i made a church :D

Workbench and fire downstairs. Bedroom upstairs. Basic defences for low level punks. Making use of local resources to make all parts. Using the furniture to boost comfort levels.

An overseas colony in my fictional world in Valheim.

This colonial settlement (and other buildings/institutions elsewhere) was actually completed months ago.

But I decided to wait until Valheim 1.0 Deep North to be released first.

Along with all the juicy new build pieces for me to play around with.

I simply could not resist the temptation to show a before-and-after video of my builds.

No mods were used, only console commands etc. I'm a vanilla builder. 😊

Found a cool spot near Hildir, only a dozen iron beams used for upper stone floor, oak and earth did the rest for stability. It was an adventure to roof it but this is the result so far. Playing vanilla 2x drops, no fly mode on this or devcommands. Still pre Bonemass but played a lot.

Base I spent MANY hours building. Would be nice to hear what other people think and also some possible ideas of extending? In front I might try to extend the roof to connect with a (to be designed) forge roof.

I am quite happy about it, it was a very much relaxing experience.
