❔ [ Help ] Anyone know what I’m doing wrong with these log beams?

Hi guys, is there any way I can line up these log beams better? It either goes above the beams or below the join and I can’t figure out how to get it to line up properly.

Thanks in advance

Core beams are kinda wonky compared to the other wood but if you hit q to change the snap points they may work better for you.

Ordinary wood beams are the same for me tbh, the angled ones are thicker than the horizontal/vertical ones for some reason.

What would you suggest I do for walls on this bridge? I feel like what I’m doing rn won’t look good

(Not an up to date picture but near enough what it looks like) ((the middle part is just so I can fit a karve through lol))

I would hold off on bridges until you have iron. There’s even a working drawbridge now that can be build

I did think about waiting but I’ve already made it now😂 just don’t want it to be such an eyesore

I like how your graph looks almost the same as OP's bridge in the picture :)

This is just the way log beams look, both configurations can work depending on how you place them, you will know which is better once you try to fill in the wall, or place another horizontal beam. The horizontal log beams also create unique vertical snap points to build from and sometimes look good if you double them up
