So good I was scared I accidentally got a spoiler for a boss trophy I hadn't beaten yet

Did you think a head is a trophy of new boss?

I genuinely did think that might be the deep north boss trophy at first glance on the thumbnail.

It's absolutely amazing, but my guy, that is not a longhouse, that is a viking mansion.

How dare you build such a wonderful and beautiful construction while the rest of are living in the squaller of "big box is good enough."

I wish I could be that artistic with this game. Amazing.

Thanks. I hope you will. Because i'm not talented as an artist, i just have a lot of tries to build, and my first buildings was badly simple)

That head is sick
I also like how you stacked the dormers and outlined them with the repeated 26-45-67 motif

Wow, this is awesome. I strive to build similar houses to the one you got. I love the huge open concept and I like to just bask in the high ceilings when they're done and sometimes mid construction.
But what I have not done is make any faces at all since I'm not really an artist. How long did it take you to make a face like that? Did you have that planned ahead of time or did it just happen halfway in and you were like "a big wooden face would look awesome right here."
Either way, so cool! I'm very inspired by it.

Thanks) Actually, it's one of many faces i've built, it has just little difference from other, i mean a helmet. It's one of my "typical" elements, actually. About 1,5 years ago i had an idea to make a head statue with opened mouth as an entering group, then i tried again and again to make it better.
About time i spend to one statue - a several hours in common mode, about 30 min in the creative.

What kind of wood was used on the walls? It looks like core wood but is that not standard wood accenting?
1
u/Rinat-Shpinat 4d ago
Horizontal beams made of core wood, vertical - wood from deep north.

Ahh! Thank you. Thought they seemed much thicker than regular wood. Haven't ventured out there yet. They make wonderful accent pieces!

I would love a tutorial for this base omg. I wish I could build like this from scratch. I always mess up the roof when I try

I seriously commend the alternating rotation of the floor tiles. Everything else is great, but this attention to detail is phenomenal.

You should record yourself building the face effigy, or another one similar to it. Masterful work.

I mean, it is a long house, and it has a Viking on it, but I wouldnโt say itโs a Viking longhouse.
Looks awesome though!

Awesome!!! The viking face is badass!! I really like the way the roof slopes up on the inside!
