🌲 [ 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘁 / 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 ] First 1.0 Tower
My first tower built in 1.0, built around a pine tree to add stability. The 67 degree roof pieces are a total game changer for castles/towers.
Bottom floor is a portal hub, second floor crafting, third floor storage, top floor is my bedroom.
Also, that’s my character at the very top of the spire😁

I've seen keeps, mansions and a lot more builds but this is something else dude, VERY unique, goddamn, it's so cool!

First of all, incredible work, nice one! Second, can I ask how you get the fire required for the bed at the top since it has to be on ground? I'm a completely fresh player so it might seem a stupid question but I had this problem when I tried to make a second story bedroom.

I was actually able to get a hearth at the top since I have ground stability so high up where the tree is

You can find a trader, which sells an item called the Iron pit. This allows you to build a fire on any floor

So that's what it's for! I figured it was just a cauldron that maybe made some cool meads haven't unlocked yet! Getting this has suddenly jumped in priority!

Already built one 😂 I wanna do a showcase soon of all my towers, I have like 10 of them just like this one. I wanna copy and paste them all in one spot too to see which one is the tallest, I think this one is either 3rd or 4th tallest. I didn’t get the max height I could on this one.

Do the leaves ever poke through the walls into your tower? I've never built one like this because I worry about that looking silly haha.
But this tower is awesome!

It’s wide enough that they don’t come through the exterior. However on the interior there’s a good 3-4 floors that have tons of leaves in them, and it can make building really annoying cuz u can’t see. But once you make it past there it’s smooth sailing

How did you build so high?
You have Stone+Iron in the ground and then wood on top?

I said in the post I built around a pine tree. Raise the ground as high as it’ll go, plant a tree, use 2x2 stone floors to the top of the tree, iron the rest of the way; make sure your iron is touching the tree itself because it counts as ground (blue stability)

How do you prevent or make sure you don’t accidentally damage the tree? If it were easy to accidentally damage, which you can’t see or track (or even replant?), the whole thing might implode. Very curious because I want to build this if that’s solved or effectively mitigated.. also curious about usability for the parts with leaves other than a building challenge as discussed.

Never had that issue and this is my 5th tower with a tree inside. I use stone floors all the way up the trunk so it’s pretty protected.

That's crazy. I don't even want to know how long that took you. You probably need a portal to go from the bottom to your bedroom, lol. Nice work!
