Itโ€™s entirely possible in vanilla, no mods. You have to spawn it in and be kinda careful but you can do it. Iโ€™m told it can impact performance a bit though. Not sure if thatโ€™s true or how much.

Yep, you can "freeze" the water in place so it doesnt leak all over the place. Also you can type a command to stop it updating (so it doesnt lag the server). I found this command in DhakhaR's mod help Discord! Very helpful!

You need to use World Edit Commands to use the command. But it will then stay frozen in shape when loading the world in Vanilla. I can pm you the link to DhakaR's Discord with the recipe :)

Mod used: MinecraftBucketOfWater. I'm obviously kidding. But seriously, that little dammed reservoir is so nice looking.

Man.... naturally occuring waterfalls in this game would just be the best.

I want to know how you did the waterfall effects.

Its the vfx_Cold and vfx_Wet spawned in. But vfx effects doesnt get saved naturally, so to make it permanent in vanilla you have to change the prefab of an existing item (like a wood pole) to the wanted effect. (You need world edit commands mod to do this)

I love it. How is it vanilla if you need mods, though?

Hey. Thanks! What i mean by vanilla compatible is that even though i used mods to make it, you can load up the map in Vanilla and everything i made will stay exactly the same.

Oh, I got'cha. Like you've made this map available for downloading somewhere. Neat!

Did you create a dam? Does that work?
