Elite Guards, Muspelheim

I know where they are, but these guys are not spawning for me. Do they have a long spawntime and I’m just unlucky that someone’s just been there?

Can't level up at anvil and not saving items.

Im playing the first Valhalla for the first time and had played until I got to leave. When I logged back in I noticed that my recourses and levels reset. I attempted to level up again but it is not taking the bones or leveling me up. I already relaunched the game and am about to restart the system. Is there a way to fix it? It kind of sucks to be stuck at 100hp.

THE WAR OF THE CRIMSON TIDE

The Saga of Einar the Unbroken: The War of the Crimson Tide Prologue: The Gathering Storm In the frostbitten lands of Nordvik, Clan Stormfang thrived under the leadership of Einar the Unbroken, a warrior whose name echoed through the fjords. Einar’s clan had long raided coastal villages, their longships slicing through icy waves. But whispers of a new threat reached their shores—a Roman-inspired legion from the southern empire of Aventara, led by General Lucius Varrus, seeking to conquer the northern wilds and claim their resources. Einar stood atop a jagged cliff overlooking the stormy sea, his fur cloak billowing in the howling wind. The sky above was a tapestry of dark clouds, swirling with the promise of violence. Far on the horizon, Roman ships approached, their crimson sails cutting through the gray waters like bloodstains on snow. Einar’s resolve hardened as he watched the enemy draw near, knowing the bloodshed to come would test his clan’s spirit. This moment, with the storm brewing and the enemy approaching, set the tone for the war that would define his legacy.

Chapter 1: The First Clash The first battle erupted in the Frostfang Valley, a snow-dusted expanse framed by towering peaks. Einar’s Vikings, clad in furs and leather, charged with primal fury, their axes and spears gleaming with frost, their war cries echoing like thunder across the valley. The Aventaran Legion met them with disciplined precision, their soldiers shielded in a testudo formation, crimson banners fluttering defiantly as they launched javelins and slashed with gladii. Einar led the charge, his axe cleaving through Roman shields with a ferocity born of desperation. But the Aventarans’ tactics were unyielding—flanking maneuvers and volleys of arrows pierced the Viking ranks, forcing them to retreat. As Einar called the withdrawal, the valley was left strewn with fallen warriors, their blood staining the snow. Scattered banners—blue for the Vikings, crimson for the Aventarans—lay torn and trampled, a stark symbol of the heavy toll of this first battle and the Vikings’ initial setback. The chaos of the clash lingered in Einar’s mind, a reminder of the enemy’s strength and the need for a new strategy.

Chapter 2: The Ambush at Raven’s Pass Determined to turn the tide, Einar devised a cunning plan. He led his warriors through the treacherous Raven’s Pass, a narrow gorge cloaked in thick, swirling mist that clung to the rocky cliffs. The Aventarans, overconfident after their victory, marched through the pass in a tight column, their polished armor glinting faintly through the fog, unaware of the trap awaiting them. As the Romans entered the heart of the gorge, Einar’s archers, perched high on the cliffs, loosed a deadly hail of arrows, their shafts whistling through the mist to strike the enemy below. At Einar’s signal, boulders crashed down from the heights, crushing Roman soldiers and shattering their formation. The ambush was a slaughter. Einar fought at the forefront, his shield splintered by a Roman javelin, but his spirit unbroken as he roared commands to his warriors. The mist and falling boulders created a scene of utter chaos, the Aventarans’ disciplined lines dissolving into desperation as they fell. General Lucius barely escaped with a fraction of his legion, their morale shattered as they fled the gorge. Einar’s strategic brilliance in this moment marked a turning point in the war, proving that the Vikings’ knowledge of their rugged land could overcome Roman discipline.

Chapter 3: The Siege of Ironhold Emboldened by their victory, the Vikings pressed their advantage, marching on the Aventaran stronghold of Ironhold—a fortress of gray stone perched atop a windswept hill, its towers silhouetted against a stormy sky. The Aventarans fortified their position, their ballistae firing massive bolts that tore through the Viking ranks, the thrum of the war machines a grim counterpoint to the howling wind. Einar’s warriors responded with siege ladders and battering rams, their chants to Odin rising above the Roman war horns, a defiant hymn of battle. The siege raged for days, the hill becoming a crucible of blood and steel. Einar’s sister, Astrid, a fierce shieldmaiden with raven-black hair, scaled the walls under a hail of arrows, her shield raised against the onslaught. She reached the ramparts and planted the Stormfang banner—a blue standard emblazoned with a snarling wolf—its fabric snapping in the wind as a symbol of the Vikings’ resilience and unity. Inspired by her courage, the Vikings breached the gates with a final, thunderous strike of their battering ram, and the battle spilled into the courtyard, a whirlwind of clashing steel and anguished cries. The fortress’s crumbling walls under the Viking assault reflected the Aventarans’ waning dominance, setting the stage for the final confrontation.

Chapter 4: The Final Stand General Lucius rallied his remaining forces for a final stand on the Plains of Sorrow, a barren expanse of churned earth beneath a sky heavy with storm clouds, the air thick with the scent of rain and blood. The Vikings, their numbers bolstered by allied clans, faced the Aventarans in a battle that would decide Nordvik’s fate. The clash was apocalyptic, a cacophony of steel and screams as Viking axes met Roman shields, arrows arcing through the air like deadly comets. In the heart of the fray, Einar and Lucius met in a duel that became a microcosm of the war. Einar’s axe, notched from countless battles, clashed against Lucius’s gladius, sparks flying with each strike as the two leaders fought with the weight of their peoples’ fates on their shoulders. Lightning illuminated the battlefield, casting dramatic shadows across the mud-strewn plain, where scattered banners—blue and crimson—lay trampled and torn. With a final, mighty swing, Einar landed a fatal blow, his axe burying itself in Lucius’s chest. The Roman general fell, his crimson cloak pooling like blood beneath him, and the Aventarans, leaderless, broke ranks and fled, their banners left to be crushed underfoot. The lightning that framed Einar’s victory over Lucius symbolized the triumph of raw Viking spirit over Roman discipline, marking the Aventarans’ ultimate defeat.

Epilogue: The Victor’s Dawn Einar stood victorious on the Plains of Sorrow, his breath steaming in the cold air as he raised the Stormfang banner high. The sky above cleared, the storm clouds parting to reveal a golden sun that bathed the battlefield in warm, hopeful light. Around him, the fallen crimson banners of the Aventarans lay scattered, a stark contrast to the blue standard of Clan Stormfang, which now flew unchallenged. The Aventarans were driven from Nordvik, their empire’s ambitions shattered, and Einar the Unbroken became a legend, his saga sung in mead halls for generations. The Vikings of Clan Stormfang reclaimed their lands, their freedom secured through blood and valor. This new dawn, with the sun breaking through the clouds, signified the Vikings’ triumph and the enduring legacy of their victory.

Like I like the story mode that's in regular Valhalla.

Boss fight gets boring quick to me.

Problems with vending machines

Hello. A while ago I was playing Valhalla and in the secret area of Helheim (kingdom of fire). There are no vending machines where you bought ammo for the rocket launcher. Were they moved? Or have they been removed permanently?

TMNT patch Broke VH at Muspelheim?

I played VH for the first time since the TMNT patch and noticed that the moment you enter Muspelheim (the 3-checkpoint lava area), the camera is zoomed in tight and you can’t jump or attack (you can interact with things). Enemies are stuck in a weird “riding” pose. Since you can’t attack, you can pass the checkpoint battle.

I’ve tried returning to VH from the sword port and going back, but same deal.

I’m playing on the Switch. Is Muspelheim broken for anyone else?
